Vasquez himself is also like at 4 fouls. Yet no cards? The whole Real team has 9 fouls accounted. I think you miscounted a bit? ![]() But yeah no reason not to card Carvajal

You remember how this tie went last year.

The 1-0 was a bit lucky, I don't think Bayern really did anything spectacular to deserve the lead, but they've been better after that. 1-1, only one sub left vs Bale + Benzema + Asensio for Madrid. Even with this average Real, good luck. Bayern's looked better at pretty much every stage of the game. Except for a roughly 5 minute spell of Madrid possession, Bayern's made Madrid look very average. Madrid's goal came out of absolutely nowhere.

Still going to need to replace those old dudes haha Dont worry, he needed an excuse to try and bait people who like, Pep. Pep brought in Thiago, Coman, Kimich, Gotzen, Costa and thats just off the top of my head. Now that some didnt quite work out enough to replace Robben and Ribery is a different story. Not to mention those two are really good still, borrowed time and all. Not through lack of trying though. + Show Spoiler + Remember, Sharkie has preconceived opinions and he makes quips that reinforce them, like that Real/rigged comment,he doesnt often know very much. And there he got what he wanted. On April 26 2018 04:40 Stratos_speAr wrote: Bayern's looked better at pretty much every stage of the game. Sure, but they havent really quite looked 1 goal lead better either. I suppose thats debatable though.

Alonso and Lahm retired a a season after he left. Robbery were nowhere near replaced. He tried a few players but who all turned not good enough in the end. When Heynkes left after the treble the team was full of potential.

But you cant for not trying. Which was your initial implication suggesting that it was his preference to not use them. Which is not a completely honest statement. He got Kimich for Lahm. Lahm was old when Jupp was there too. What was Jupp doing? hmmmm Heck even Ribery and Robben were old when Jupp was there

Robben was 29 and Ribery was 30 when Pep first got there though, and that exercise his point he didn't replace either of those, he tried Coman who Ancelotti happily sold.

I edited it in because I realised you actually have no idea what is going on. On April 26 2018 05:05 sharkie wrote: 28 year old Lahm is considered old? Well then I guess there is no manager in the world who leaves young players behind 29, sure any player nearing 30 should have succession planning in place. Pep did do it after all he got Kimich didnt he (albiet for different reasons cuz he wanted to put Lahm in the middle, not something I agree with) All clubs do it, agains succeeding is a different issue which is because often diffuclt or near impossible to adequetly replace players of that calibre. But in Jupps case he didnt even bother. Look at the subs bench during his time. Makes my point.
