When they were both under 30, i don't get your point your failing to make xd You really should pay attention to what your butting into. Look at my comment. I edited it in because I realised you actually have no idea what is going on. Your saying Jupp didn't leave any young players behind? You quote Robben and Ribery as being old when Jupp left? How is being under 30 old now? xD Pep left with them over 33 and only Coman getting game time to compete with the 3.

NOW the comments regarding Jupps failure to have appropriate succession planning in place is a separate issue I raised, because I considered the other matters closed. And so I am happy to discuss that bit further. That is the one you are sidetracking into.

Madrid looks so bad that I don't think it's out of the question, but you can't give them a lead going into the home leg and say anything positive.

Not much to say about Real. Not their best game. But it worked. Clinical in front of the goal. Ronaldo with less time staring on the pitch than Bayerns medical team. I guess they'll win it now (though you obv. cant count Bayern out yet). I feel like if any of these 2 teams would play in the CL final with the performance they had today vs. a Liverpool with their performance yesterday Liverpool would win with a pretty big margin. Really disappointed in Bayern

What sorta passed under my own radar was that they didn't reach semis even once between 2003-04 and 2009-2010. then from 2011 onward, every single season. Not-coincidentally, Ronaldo arrived in 2009. ![]()

Really disappointed in Bayern It was a indeed a weird (and poor) game. Real somehow managed to create absolutely nothing for 80 minutes but Marcelo got a stroke of genius and Rafinha a brainfart. On the other side of the field, their defensive work was mostly watching Bayern bottle great goalscoring chances.

I also saw a very tired Bayern by the end of the game which shouldn't have been either, they need a good rest this weekend in Bundesliga so they can really go hard in the next game which if they score first will make it interesting. However i can't see Real Madrid playing like they did this game, seems to be an "away performance" specifically and will control more of the ball at home and actually give Ronaldo service.
