Can get beat with a lob, through his legs, to the right, or the left all minimal power/placement needed. The ball is also in the air, it is chest height, if he tries to bring that down he needs perfect control and still then it takes 2-3 seconds, he is never going to do that because he is Ramsey. Also i highly doubt messi would even bring that down, the first time flick shot is a 90% probability thus you stay on your line. He stays on his line and he catches the simplest of shots in the air. Instead he is made to look a fool for predicting that Ramsey is going to control a ball chest height with pace on it inside the penalty area for whatever reason. This for me is nearly as bad as Lloris' failure for Spurs at the weekend. Akinfeev is also a bad keeper period so xD Man, what planet are you from... all of those things can happen when hes on his line aswell except. the getting lobbed bit and with the difficulty level reduced 10 fold. Again if you think defending such broad angles on your line against a guy receiving the ball 10 yards out + Show Spoiler + (even if Ramsey was lying on the floor did a barrel roll and got up to control the ball it would still be easier for him to finish if the keeper doesn't leave his line) You cant just plug in a complete shit unfounded assumption that the defenders wouldve have recovered in that situation. The keeper cant count on that. Coming off the line is not always correct. Coming off his line in this situation was 100 percent the correct thing to do. On April 06 2018 17:51 Pandemona wrote: Bizzare flick? That is the only way to shoot or whatever. Messi 100% does exactly same thing Ramsey does but of course better cuz its Messi....The header again the other thing you say = keeper needs to stay on his line. Where the ball is is chest height, you either low header or do what Ramsey did and do that flick shit. No way do you control a ball with that much pace on the ball inside the box thinking your going to get god like control and have the time to be able to do anything. Controllign that ball = defenders are back onto him really fast. I don't get how you can say anything other than a first time flick shot / low header is the probability there. Pande fail at basic goal keeping mechanics.. You are genuinely suggesting that at this instance, the keeper sit on his line and let Ramsey take the touch and finish ?? ![]() On April 06 2018 16:22 nayumi wrote: Did someone swap "a", "s" and "d" around on your keyboard? ![]() To me the goal is amazing more on the build-up rather than the finish. I said you don't get nutmegged by a volley like that, the only way Ramsey scores a goal is if keeper comes off his line in this instance which is fact. If he stayed on his line he catches it in the air. If not the volley or sidefoot flick he did would have had to somehow be hit into the far corner which is seeminly impossible.

The touch if he takes one would have to be unbelievable to control that near him without the left back being able to come back into the game. Again not even Messi could do that. Incorrect, the only way Ramsey doesnt score with that particular volley is if the keeper stays on his line. But the keeper doesnt know he is going to do that.... if you put it like that every time someone hits the pen down the middle its the keepers fault, all he had to do was stay in place the ball would have just hit him. Everytime a keeper gets nutmegged all he had to do was keep his legs closed. Every time the ball beats the keeper all he had to do was stop the ball.... GENIUS ! BRB Regarding the image, I guess I gave you too much credit in terms of memory, and all I was looking to do was show the distance.. Here is the ball coming to him.. even a muppet can bring the ball down clean in a split second and finish if the keeper just sits on his line.. + Show Spoiler + and I dont know what goals look like where you see them but this isnt a six a side goal. Finishing that with a keeper stuck on his line is joke easy. Every wondered why goal keepers mysteriously creep forward of their lines against penalty takers? I wonder why they do that, so stupid if they just stayed on the line it would be impossibly difficult to finish, in Pandeland anyway the only muppet that cant would be classified as an English player at the World Cup. ![]()

If he's international quality he can head this near or farside (low usually), flick it near, open his hips for a redirect farside, or do a 2-touch that can go near or farside. In fact, I'd actually guess the most likely thing for this guy to do is try and do a quick control and shoot (and then get into his head and be too slow and fuck it up). But the keep has to pressure him otherwise he can get off a pretty good shot even being clumsy with the defender collapsing. Plus if the defender successfully collapses he has 2 wide open teammates he can tee up 12-18 yards from the goal.

1. Last night Sporting's president, Bruno de Carvalho, made a post on social media criticizing his players, naming his two CBs and other players who missed key chances. 2. Bruno de Carvalho then decides to call in directly to late night sports talkshows denying he was actually criticizing players, even though he clearly was. 3. Today news comes out that Sporting's players refused to train in the morning, upset with the President's post. 4. Sporting's communication department denies the news that the players refused to train, claiming 'fake news'. 5. During the day most of the team posted on instagram that the moment called for unity and denouncing the president's singling out of players in his criticism. 6. Just now, Bruno de Carvalho decided to suspend every player that made the post, calling the players 'spoiled brats who can't take criticism and don't respect anyone', apparently unaware of the irony. The players are Rui Patrício, William Carvalho, Bruno Fernandes, Battaglia, Piccini, Palhinha, Coates, Acuña, Gelson Martins, Podence, Bruno César, Montero, Bryan Ruiz, Rúben Ribeiro, Doumbia, Fábio Coentrão and Rafael Leão. Basically the entire team except Bas Dost who doesn't seem to have social media accounts.

I still wouldn't rule out a backing down from Sporting's president, although the guy is seriously deranged. This is the guy who fired Marco Silva alleging just cause because the manager didn't wear the official sporting suit in one game.
