I guess the video ref should be a visible part of the officialating lineup rather than some random local guy behind the scenes like it sometimes seems to go in hockey.

This is a different Fluminense not the one linked with Exeter City and the formation of the Brazilian National side? I love that story so much, I was getting the camp fire lit and about to recall it again before I realised it was a different Fluminense. Does Fluminense mean something or is it just a name? I am guessing using the numbers as advertising is more of a publicity stunt than anything else.

But unsurprisingly, Brazil has many rivers, and thus lots of people who live on a riverside, and play football. This team is from Bahía.

Well we have been poor but i mean every world cup our big players like Lampard and Gerrard went to they more than contributed. Especially South Africa comes to mind. Our keepers have let us down at the majority of the championships. Strikers were big problem in Euros just on top of continued Keeper howlers. But im quite confident minus Rooney at last championships all the big guns with pedigree at the highest level aka champions league winners or big players in said competition turned up to at least a 7/10. Sterling was great in Rio too for example. Been not so amazing since on all levels but still shows more flashes in europe and international games. Euros just gone Lallana showed he is also a european top player with his performances.

Probably won't beat Reading who can conceivably promote to the Premier League despite also being in the negative for goal difference right now in terms of comedy if they get it done. Promoted back the the Championship today. Feels good.

Also I still see no justification in recalling Ake from loan. He was having a good season, first team opportunities in the top league, and now he is recalled just to train and feature in cups. Wasted opportunity. He is behind Pedro in the backup left wing back, and behind zouma at centre back. Conte doesn't even rest players since no European football. I hope when we win the league with 3-4 games to spare, Conte would play these fringe players. I remember being pissed last season when we have nothing to play for, the first team had let us down time and time again, no better time yo test these hungry fringe, yet overlooked again.

In the entire season they had: - 1 win with +4 - 3 wins with +2 - 10 wins with +1 - 8 draws - 5 losses by -1 - 2 losses by -2 - 1 loss by -3 - 2 losses by -4 - 1 loss by -5 - 1 loss by -6 So yes, winning small and losing big was certainly their theme. Combine this with the fact that even 7th place is only 1 win behind them at this playday... Even 13th is only 3 wins away. Not sure in how many seasons 10w, 7d, 5l would be enough to be 1st place... (under the 3 point system this would be even less likely and they would have been 3rd place here)
