Why did Stuttgart have to score ![]() edit: More random stuff to talk about; It looks like Iran will be at the World Cup. Korea got a cruical win over Syria after putting themselves in a poor position losing to China right in the middle of all the bollocks when China was trying to whip up nationalism and racial hatred over Korea deploying defensive missiles. I didn't watch that game but I'm guessing that was a fairly hostile environment down in Changsha. It will take Chinese people almost a month to forget they hate Korea and remeber they love buying Korean products and listening to Korean pop music again. I feel sorry for the idiot tourists who had a cruise holiday booked to Jeju but showed their 'national pride' by refuesing to get of the ship and enjoy their holiday. Well done guys, money well spent. If anyone wants a gauge for where Chinese football is right now that hugely impashioned win against Korea is their only win from 7 games so far. The other group is 2 from Saudi Arabia, Japan and Australia.

Think he was stubborn and didn't revert back despite their shit form. So he deserved the sack although harsh. Shakespeare seemed to have made Leicester go back to their old style again, and the results have swung in. You would have thought the other officals there would have been able to quickly remind the referee the rules. It seems pretty unlikely the referee, both linesman and the 4th offical (I assume there is one in the Championship) all forgot the rules. They are so lucky it didn't matter and Newcastle won the game anyway in the end. It would be a huge scandal otherwise. edit: Imagine if a team got relegated by a mistake like that.

Not able to link it directly, but this page has a summary video, chance happens after 40 seconds. What about Michael Owen?

Messi and Ronaldo are clearly the best two players in the world of the past decade, but I don't think that holds true at all if you strictly look at international performance, even with Portugal winning the EC, and even if I admittedly struggle with finding 'dominant international players' post-Zidane. Which kinda adds to my argument I think, that international performance just isn't all that important anymore.

But I don't really agree that performing at all levels or in all competitions is all that essential. The 36 league games per season are way more important than the 8 international ones, and the 19 year old isn't at fault for England being terrible. Championships are also out of season. In the Champions League and Europa League, Alli also has yet to make a big mark. I am being very cynical here but that's only cuz the term best ever was used ![]() Like i said after the last international phase to friends and people at work when we discussing England. If you removed Tottenham from the planet England would have been a better side because of it! ![]()
