1st penalty looked harsh, but was likely the right call. 2nd penalty looked like a dive to me. Went down way too easily. If you loss 1-0 or 2-1 maybe you could whine about it, but when you concede 6 goals in a game, I don't think you deserve any sympathy. | ||

When the dust settles and everyone stops being angry that Barca managed to do it again, very little. - The handball by Mascherano was just about everything that excepts a handball from being a foul (short distance, natural position, zero intent, little impact). - The 2nd penalty was full speed contact to the legs and by the arm on the shoulder from a defender behind Suarez with zero play at the ball, yes Suarez sells it well but that is still at least a 50/50 call. If you want to compare it to 2009 just look at the press reactions, there was outrage then in just about every British article and at least mention of questionable decisions in every international article. From what I have read so far about last night its not even called contentious. | ||

I think the contentious decisions were overshadowed by PSG being thrashed 6-1, which meant that unfair/bad luck was not the main factor in their loss.
