like let's say you get 13-0 Bama 12-1 Clemson ACC Champ 11-1 Ohio State 12-1 Washington PAC 12 Champ 11-2 Penn State B1G Champ 11-1 West Virginia Big 12 Champ
who gets in? It depends on how much the committee fetishizes conference titles (IMO they are meaningless, its about games and teams you beat). The first 2 years made it seem like they love them more than Rex Ryan likes feet and pizza. If they let that go you Go with Bama-ACC in 1-4 (dont want another regional national title rematch) and OSU-Wash 2-3.

Conference Championships are extremely important to the committee.

I just want to point out how it was totally unimportant that the SEC didn't have a conference championship game for all that time during the BCS era, but as soon as we switch to the Committee gawd awlmaghty you better have one.

Gameday announced for Western Michigan vs Buffalo next week lol. I guess cause it's WMU's last saturday home game and they like to go to 1 non P5 school each year but they're playing like the worst team in the MAC by coincidence

Fuck Gameday. Passed up Nebraska vs Wisconsin and OSU. They should be suspended from being on television. Pass up 2 top 10 match ups for bullshit. (granted, UN got blown out by OSU but that's not the point)
Gonna type 3 papers before the Patriots come on.

Ah, my mistake, I must have been thinking of Pac-12. They've only had one since 2011.

They've only had one since 2011. There was a rule that you couldn't have one without 12 teams in your conference until this year. It's why the Big 12 dropped it but they're bringing it back

Wow the legends about the Vikings o line were true. It is terrible. Couldn't even run on us and we suck at run D

Bradford trade starting to turn out as expected. The "you have to have a Quarterback" people have gone back into their cliche dungeons.

Hah, Lions on top of the NFL North!

The one thing I find pretty funny about the Redskins is how I have no idea how good we really are. We were an endzone int, missed OT fg, and 1 min Stafford drive from 8-1 but could probably easily also be 1-8 if everyone we faced finished their 4th quarter drives
|
I think it just goes to show how level the competition is, and how close in skill most teams in the NFL. The chargers and the saints are also in that category where their record could probably be anything if for a few plays.
|
I don't think anybody knows how good most teams this year are. I saw some stat today on tv that this season has the most < 8 margin of victories in NFL history.
