Halloway fought a guy having weight cut issues who has never fought at 145 and is 1-3 in his last 4 fights. The people saw the BS for what it was. the PPV had a very low buy-rate and the house was heavily papered with the average ticket price being $100. very low for a "PPV". i got to see the event for free and a couple of weeks later so did everyone else on FOX. The fastest the UFC has ever given away a PPV for free. the free giveaways of this fight show you how important the people felt this "title fight" was. it was a joke of a PPV and should've been a Fox Fight Night Card. | ||

Halloway deserves a title shot; he does not deserve a belt because he has not defeated the current reigning champion. if you want to call us all stupid.. have fun.  it was a "title fight" where the belt could only be won by 1 of the 2 guys. talk about dumb. why didn't they stick a ladder in the middle of the ring and hang the belt 15 feet in the air too? | ||

Sure, the Holloway-Pettis fight didn't do good numbers, but that doesn't make Holloway any less of a worthy contender, especially when one lists his last 10 fights, where he beat many top contenders in the division, which JimmiC listed. Oddly enough, you fail to address the actual facts because you didn't like his tone and thought it was a personal attack because he said your argument was "stupid". | ||
