Latest news does not mention the suitcase inside the stadium anymore, or the fake ambulance, and instead says that it was called of because of information from French intelligence agencies.

Interestingly, Ajax is financially completely sound, and doesn't have too much to complain about in the sporting achievement department (although this season is looking quite lackluster, with the early elimination from the cup, and looking to be kicked out of the Europa league before Christmas too). It just seems like organizationally it is a complete nightmare. I disagree with the report that the transfers were bad. There were a few missers, a few winners, a load of decent support and width buys, and quite a few young players who may or may not make it into the first team. Either way, the only high profile buy was Sinkgraven, who I think will turn out just fine. The big misser I guess is Duarte, who was not cheap, and has turned out miserably. Still, compared to high profile buys like Mido, Sulejmani and Machlas in the past, Duarte is a big step up
Ah I see, I was only reading the summary to be honest. Because if Ajax is wasting that much money it goes a long way to explain why Feyenoord has been semi competitive these last couple years despite us being 3 times as poor. Also Ajax has been performing rather poor in Europe, worse so than poorer teams as well.
Concerning the organizational problems, we have them here as well

If money were the only factor, then Ajax and to a.lesser extent PSV would rule unchallenged. We all know that's not really the case. Even Zwolle, a dwarf by anybody's measure had two strong seasons, and other "small" teams put up a serious fight and can lead to surprise title challenges. Twente and AZ of course as the obvious ones... and Chelsea 2.
But Feyenoord's strength, just like Ajax, comes from its youth program and not from transfers. Guidetti and Pelle were obviously good, and bringing Kuyt back home is clearly working better than Heitinga, but I am not so sure Feyenoord has that great a transfer record over the last 5 years either.

Zlatan after Denmark game interview: "They wanted to send me into retirement, but i sent their entire country into retirement"
:D

Showed the Danish cunts again what's up. Feel bad for Eriksen, surrounded by such garbage he completely folded. Højbjerg was embarrassingly bad, and Bendtner equally so. Zlatan with two class goals and then two consolation goals for Denmark. And I thought they were a nightmare draw for us, hah.
NO ZLATAN NO PARTY

I feel that should be the case considering how much richer they are/were than the rest. Feyenoord has finally started creeping back, but 5 years ago the club was at the verge of bankruptcy and the majority of our transfer fees went to pay off debts, only 1/3 of the money coming in from transfers was allowed to be spent and this rule lasted till this year. PSV was profiting most from our youth academy even
Anyway PSV's performance last year was particularly dominating and I feel that is going to be the trend when Ajax get their act together too.

Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Arijan Ademi has been given a four-year ban from football after failing a drugs test, the club have announced.
The 24-year-old tested positive for a banned substance following Dinamo's 2-1 Champions League victory over Arsenal in September, prompting Uefa to launch an investigation.
Following a hearing in Switzerland, European football's governing body has issued a lengthy suspension to the Macedonia international, who insists he remains innocent of any offence. www.goal.com
I need to find a place where I can bet that this is reduced massively on appeal.

What a fucking joke of a game Tuchel needs to tell his players that Hamburg is not about to be relegated right now and there is no reason to play like shit
lmao that 3:0. Go home Hummels, you are more drunk than i was on my last day of school Also i wish today was thursday because this feels like a #ThrowbackThursday to last season
|
Yeah just write off this game, first they play like shit and then Adler decides it is 2009 again and his injury never happened. On a positive note, a tie/win was very possible even if the BVB only showed up for the last 30 mins/hamburg ran out of gas.
