Hes young athletic and a decent ish defender. Last year he looked like a passable if not great shooter off the bench on a contending team type, and thats all they need him to turn into. Plus hes only 22 meaning hes young enough that they want to take a look at him to see if hes a passable reclamation project, which was probably why the celtics wanted him (plus he has some positive trade value where as Salmons has none).

We must watch different players... Any defensive metric has him as one of the NBA's worst and he can't shoot. There's nothing he does that is of NBA standard. I just can't see him contributing no matter how cheap he is...

Not only that but Doc is wise to not want to coach his own son. It's just opening a can of worms on a team that already doesn't have great personal chemistry.

he's at 65% around the rim, and only around 45% of his fieldgoals around the rim are assisted. if you ever watch extended periods of twolves games you would also recognize that his assisted% is kind of garbage, because a lot of passes to him are just garbage passes not scoring opportunity assists. he's being pretty damn efficient at creating his own shot and showing a lot of post efficiency. need to stop shooting the 10-20 foot jumpers though. http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/203952/stats/shooting/?PerMode=Totals&DateFrom=12/23/2014&DateTo=01/10/2015

I remember as a little kid playing In the Zone '98 and thinking, "I should have a favorite team. My favorite color is red, so let me pick the first team with the color red." Thanks to the alphabet, I became a Hawks fan. OMGEEERD THEY ARE SO GOOD THIS SEASON.

Are the Pistons now the fourth best team in the east? (Below Wiz, Hawks, Bulls)

Now they have Kings, Spurs, Mavs, Hawks, Nets, Raptors, Pelicans. If they can win 3 of those 7 (Kings/Hawks/Raptors, Nets, Pelicans), they'll be in pretty good shape in the terrible East. This team is better off making the playoffs for culture than tanking, and sadly it's still pretty doable in the East. Yep, so now we're 5-1 against that schedule. ![]()
