The only problem is Brendan Wright was the backup big man and the next in line is Greg Smith. They definitely need to pick up someone along the lines of Jermaine O'Neal to back up Tyson Chandler for sure. | ||

Chandler/Rondo will be like Chandler/Paul 2.0 Parsons can't create his own shot to save his life... Ellis and Dirk won't have to force so many contested shots no more... You people really think Rondo was ball hogging in Boston cause he wanted to...? Name me one play maker on that Celtics team... Please... Not to mention Rondo being there will in no way affect Dirk's/Ellis'/Parson's shot attempts per game since Rondo is a pass first guard.... more so even than Nelson... Rondo is as close as you can get to a perfect fit... | ||

he's half court orientated but dallas plays high pace (10th in pace) defense just sags on rondo and makes it easier to rotate (refer to my $ splits for rondo) he is not as close to a perfect fit as possible. he'll help on the perimeter D but his effect on the O is questionable the real issue is dallas' front court...wright was big and now lost crowder. who do the mavs have left? smith and aminu? | ||
