Cp3/Steph are definitely the top 2. I'd say Wall is 3rd best, but I'm biased... so I'd run with Wall/Lillard/Westbrook as the tier 2 pgs.

Parker.

Is Kyrie still a PG? He's definitely more of a scoring guard right now. Defense is still weak, but so far he's been the best offensive weapon on that team.

What was Prigioni guarding?

He was thinking about a mama's lasagna.

I'm like 1/8th Italian, so it's ok.

Except he's Argentinian, not Italian hahah. Why do people always think that Argentinians are Europeans? People always say they that Ginobili's Eurostep is so good because he's European...things like that.

I believe both Ginobili and Prigioni hold dual citizenship for Italy and Argentina.

Parker and Ginobli are always forgotten among guards. Also Jeff Teague.

So many good point guards.
Curry, CP3, Lillard, Westbrook, Parker. Conley, Lawson, Dragic* and Thomas are also good.
Then for the east there's Rose*, Lowry, Wall, Teague, Rondo.

I don't think Parker has ever hit Steph/CP3 or Jonh Wall levels as a complete player in his time. He's still really good though

Curry and Wall still didn't reach their highest ceiling, but today I'd still take prime TP9 over whatever Wall has shown so far, even though he's probably my favorite up and coming PG.

Plus if parker can sustain a 40+% 3FG% (which looks less and less flukey by the day now) throughout the (post)season and come through in the playoffs as he usually does, I think his best year is still to come.

And if we're _really_ talking complete player, then parker clearly is the best floor manager, leader, game and pace manager, has more experience and does all the "intangibles" (as BS as it may sound) better then any other one of the bunch (imo)

I just wish he could be the defensive stopper that CP can be at times. It is so amazing to see him lock in and have a great defensive impact on any 1-3 player (cf on Durant last playoffs)

wall is shooting too much long jumpers. with his athleticism he should be focused on penetrating to the rim or else distributing. taking 20 foot jumpers bails out the defense.

TP hasn't ever hit Nash/Kidd/CP3 levels of managing an offense. Again, he's good, but TP has had very short bursts of All Time great levels of play whereas CP3 is pretty much a superstar from his 2nd year, and Curry is playing at a level that puts anything Parker has done in the rearview. Wall is of course more of a debate but the Wizards are absolutely lost without him, and long jumpers aside Wall has mostly been fantastic.

Parker's primary advantage is that he's a very good scorer and knows how to get the offense going. Problem is so do the other guys while being better in multiple areas.

Edit: A huge problem with discussing Parker, as it is with many Spurs related topics, is they don't get criticized for their weaknesses as much as other players because of the love affair writers have with them. You won't hear how bad Parker has been in the Finals 2 years running as much as you'll hear about CP3s failures, and once the shine wears off, Curry's defense, or insert other PG here.

I used to say the same thing about guys like Curry, Paul, Nash, anyone with good ball handling. Problem is there is a limit to that strategy. One is fatigue, two is if the defense knows what's coming you need good PnR bigs to get generate the space.

Robert Covington had 25 tonight in the 76ers win. I'm an avid college basketball fan, and I haven't the slightest clue who Robert Covington is.
