It'd probably be a better idea to just play him 30-32 minutes/game even if it means they're losing some of these games worse. Last 3 games they were "close" but very obviously weren't going to win any of them. Is it worth riding Kobe to the ground in the beginning of the season for no reason? Let him play 30 minutes / shoot 25 times per game, he'll average 28 ppg or something stupid, the Lakers will finish with 10-20 wins... at least if that happens other people will get a chance to develop or do something and Kobe won't be ruined forever.

He didn't demonstrate any ability to get his team's offense going or set his teammates up at all. Lebron looked really lackadaisical in the second half too. Not sure if he's conserving his energy on a lost cause or trying to send a message to his teammates (i.e. Kyrie). He really looked really really bad. So much dancing around at the top of the key. I mean, I know you have nice handles but get in your lane dude. Makes me wonder, strictly on a hypothetical team building level, would the Cavs have been better off in the long run keeping the Bennett/Wiggins + pick trio and trading Kyrie?

Think some naysayers are starting to come around. I don't know if I agree with that, but what I will say is he (so far) is proving to be more effective than Byron Scott. At least in D'Antoni's system, the Lakers from time to time could outshoot people to victories since they just ran and shot 3's all day. This year they can't do that... and they're not even playing defense, so ya. Fun times.
