Guess they realized there is no way to out tank the Knicks might just be roberson and the other starters(singler) not playing well dragging down westbrook. i honestly dont know why they are starting roberson. singler i can understand because durant is not there but they start roberson when durant is starting too and it's not a good look

Feel like Westbrook will lose all his knee cartilage from the way he plays. But dat Houston/Grizz game, wheres the last 2 minute challenge for that foul on Harden?

He probably forgot too.

Harden probably got a few whistles that weren't real fouls during the game anyways. It all evens out, though I do agree it sucks when it so obviously influences an outcome.

i've never followed the logic of fouls evening out...on the most crucial play of the game, it doesn't matter what the previous calls were, if it's wrong then it's wrong. i'm just thinking these reports are just empty gestures, "oops, sorry, see you next game" anyway, enough salt, had we wont that game i think we would have been .5 game behind griz...not sure i want that number 2 seed either :S spurs/okc...yikes

Mm, I see your point, but points during the middle of the game are worth just as much as points at the end. I'm not saying it's ok to be willfully negligent, but with Harden constantly driving into the lane and flailing, he makes it hard for refs to make the right call. Sometimes they'll get it wrong in his favor, sometimes they'll get it wrong to his detriment. Refs should make a better call, but it's a hard job.

Also, because of his constant flopping (exaggeration of contact if you are a Rockets fan) it is basically impossible to tell if you dont have a direct line of sight.
|
He got away with not getting ejected vs Cleveland too. You win some, you lose some.

it really pisses me off when people call him flopping, i watch every single rockets game, he legit gets hacked.

i get that. anyway...westbrook about to average more free throws than harden, he just throws himself at people, but doesn't get the same hate.

He barely got whistles in that game. Harden only had 2 FT attempts... Memphis had 17 attempts to Houston's 5.
The play in question had nothing to do with flopping or exaggeration of contact. There was even no typical Harden head-jerking on the play in question. Z-Bo slapped Harden's wrist and got away with it.

GG blazers. Poor Matthews.

Thank God for the Afflalo trade. I wouldn't count them out yet, but Wes really is like their third best player.

That picture man... Really sad for him, this really sucks. I hope he'll be able to come back to his level next season ! This also sucks for the blazers in this overly stacked western conference, although Nic Batum is finally starting to play well again, so Matthews' absence might not be too hard on the Blazers.

Think they needed Wes and Batum playing very well for a shot at the chip. Sucks because he was an upcoming Free Agent. Disastrous timing.
