As good as that victory was, I don't see Man City winning in Rome with that kind of play. That said, Bayern deserved the loss. They looked better the entire game and actively chose not to attack in the second half. That kind of mental weakness and inability to close a game is what costs you in the CL. | ||

That 4-3 lose against Schalke really hurts them, they couldve advanced if there wasnt last minute penalty. | ||

Di Maria carry them in that regard On the other side, the defense that was supposed to get rekt didnt dissapointed and played very well (their GK, Romero is a really bad keeper but got a shot of adrenaline in the WC) | ||
