Schalke played the first time with a new system this weekend ( 3:2 against wolfsburg ) with 3/5 defenders. Arguably their best game under di matteo, they actually made progress in their play/tactics, with keller and before the break it was kind of a mess to be honest.. They won every game at home with the new coach, but after all they should be no match for chelsea and i wont bet one cent on them to get points from tonight.

Chelsea is a favourite obviously but don't overrate the PL/underrate the Bundesliga. Schalke at home can get a result. Then again, Chelsea will easily win the last game so they shouldn't ever go to Europa League.

I believe we might have a fixture list from hell in December, but don't quote me on that...that said, I'm pretty sure we will get minimum four points between the two games...

But technically they can go to 5 pts today and advance with a win over Roma in the last game. (ManC had 8 pts in that situation. Roma would have 7 pts and [s]Zenit[/sCSKA (Sorry I SUCK) could only go to 7 with a win against Bayern.)

Why is CSKA staduim empty?

Looks like Strootman is back. That's great news for Roma and the Dutch national team.
CSKA just scored with about 15 seconds left. This group just got blown wide open.
So now after a 1-1 draw, Roma and CSKA have 5 points, and City have 2. A City win against Roma next week should do the job for them, as long as they don't lose to Bayern by a bunch of goals.

Imagine Bayern losing tonight... then its winner takes all in last week

Roma, why concede in the last minute?? What a bummer...

Well Bayern playing with some b-teamers tonight. Rode, Hojberg and Benatia not much minutes this season. Götze and Müller only on the bench. But well its still Robben, Ribery, Lewa upfront.
