E: Looks like Salah loan to Fiorentina had clause that autorenewed it for another year unless Chelsea decide to sell him or take him back before 1st July, and now he refuses to play for Fiorentina.

I didn't know Twickenham was that big, btw. Great place as a substitute, it's pretty close as well...

Moving games from the main Saturday slot to a third Sunday game at 1:30 or a Monday evening game. Smartly they are planning to move only ten games per season and only to "lessen the strain" on teams in the European competitions, so fans won't riot outright. So it might take until the next PL contract breaks records until every game is kicking off at a separate time, like La Liga. German source Edit: DFB -> DFL

German source Dont want to be picky but its not DFB, its the DFL who makes the plans and manages the tv money stuff. I guess its understandable from a money perspective but monday games are just the worst.

I get that they will get more money for the BL but will they move those games to Tuesday or just give up on that income

German TV money is distributed central which means that the DFL makes the contract for all pro teams (wich means first and second league). You get more if you are more successful so Bayern gets more then Stutgart which gets more then Hoffenheim and so on. So if you look only at TV money it is irrelevant who plays monday as long as it can be sold for more. 2nd league will still get the short end of it because it loses a unique exposition in the tv market. Who wins at this are the Bundesliga teams except Schalke, Bayern and Dortmund because if Bayern plays they have such a big gravity that they occupy 80% of the audience (i pulled that number of my head). So the fewer teams play at the same time the more exposition they are getting. At least in theory. I think the main reason monday games are hated is because it destroys hardcore fanbase, which it surely did in PL and LaLiga.

We wouldn't have 90,000 to games vs small teams like Dortmund, but we would fill that for the big games in champions league and premier league. Also we would be fine with a 60k stadium, which is what we are building.
