Stoke City have agreed a £12m deal to sign Xherdan Shaqiri from Inter Milan, according to Sky Italia sources.
lolol from Bayern to Stoke in just over 12 months :')
In all honesty, Stoke has to look like a pretty exciting place to go right about now. They've always had money and have left the Pulis style behind them, and have improved their points total two years running. With Shaqiri, they're like one really deadly striker away from pretty serious Europa League contention.

Maybe, but the extent of Shaqiri's ambition wasn't exactly EL.

So gutted England were the more dangerous team second half too.
Also Bassett was pure class the whole game until that og.
I always feel like the individual blame of most own goals is overestimated. The worse mistake & team mistake was that the attacker was in behind her and the cross was deadly, forcing her to do a desperate clearance. I mean if she doesn't get a piece of it it's a very good chance it's a goal anyway.
Also the worst Lampard with goal line technology sequel England could ask for. If Frank Lampard, the sequel, were written by George R.R. Martin and the Game of Thrones writers.
I find it both amusing and sad that not one, but two penalties were wrongly given in this game.
Only one legitimate goal was scored out of both semifinals, and that goal was only possible because of poor refereeing earlier in the game. Bad refereeing, poor level of play, this tournament has not looked good for the women's game.
I feel bad ragging on them because of the horrible conditions in their country, but really from a game standpoint no one should play them in friendlies, not worth endangering your players.

This is said about the reffing in seemingly every international tournament. I thought the two semifinals were revelations compared to the rest of the tournament. USA/Germany was especially good.
Also yeah. We thought the decisions in the men's game this season were very poor at all levels. Joke, Ladies game out do us on the biggest stage of them all. Absolutely shocking semi final officiating haha.
I dont get how can Porto pay €20M for one single player T_T.....anyone knows Imbula? He is good? And by good I mean an absolute monster to be worht the 20M.
