Shawcross came flying in recklessly. Barnes is clumsy as shit, but he comes in with little power, and looks like he (unsuccessfully) tried to dampen the impact. As far as suspensions go, I guess he could be off for three games if it's found to be intentional. I'm on the fence about it. How is that little power? All he needs to do is pass the ball but he comes in strong, the weight behind it lifts his left leg off the ground. Look at the bend on Matic's leg, anymore weight and it could have broken. Hence the reaction from Matic. btw: Shawcross is completely the wrong incident I'm referring to, sorry about that. The injury I'm thinking off was rather similar to what you saw in the gif only where Barnes manages to pull back somewhat, the other went full through.

Looks like my 5-1 prediction could have been a bit modest.

As far as suspensions go, I guess he could be off for three games if it's found to be intentional. I'm on the fence about it. What swings it for me is how Barnes shows no concern for Matic afterwards. If it was an accident by Barnes then I would hope he would want Matic to be okay. However Barnes casually walks away and doesn't care if he injured Matic or not. The ball went out for a throw-in so Barnes is not under immediate pressure to keep play on. Barnes just didn't care. I doubt Wisdom will be in the first team for a while. Pulis seems to have settled on Dawson at right-back with McAuley and Lescott in the centre, and I think they have done well like that.

Fair play (or otherwise) to Burnley for even been in the situation where a bit of luck runs their way and they can get a draw with Chelsea away. Those players work their socks of and no Burnley fan can be disappointed with the season they have even if they do go down. Their players have given everything. As a neutral I'm not at all unhappy with the results yesterday. Chelsea dropping two points brings us a little closer to actually having a tittle race. Chelsea are still by far the best side this season and deserve to win. But It's nice if we get a little bit of excitement and there's a hint of City putting up a tittle fight. Manchester United where awful yesterday. I'm glad they lost because they keep playing badly and winning just because of the talent in the team and then Van Der Gaal gets to say things like we are playing well we are winning games when they clearly aren't. It's getting a little bit like the West Ham situation last year where results weren't that bad but the fans where getting really pissed off with the way the team was playing. I thought that criticisms was harsh on West ham last year because they where not a top team and I thought Sam Allardyce was doing a good job. But fair play the pressure seems to have worked they are playing really well this season. That kind of criticism is fair on Manchester United though because they should be winning games and they should be playing exciting football with the kind of money they are spending. They have 75,000 fans come and watch them each week and millions more on TV. People are simply not going to keep watching if they play as dull as they have been. It's not entertaining and entertainment is the product they are trying to sell around the world.

In every game at least one of their goals arent clean and red cards to other team, and also at least 1 penalty against Benfica that referee never sees all games and other shit.. Someone should investigate this crap. Im so used to it that last night when I saw the goal for Moreirense I immediately bet in a least one red card in the game lol. It is just a joke really...worse than that are Benfica fans always complaining about referees helping other clubs when them, almost every year, are helped in such an obvious matter that I cannot believe how is that not news every day....oh they are so many that telling people they are being carried would mean less sales (is the usual excuse). Disgusting country our own regarding this crap ![]()

1-0 Everton! Lukaku does well to hold off his defender and lays it off for Naismith, who puts it on his right foot and hits one. It's slightly deflected and makes its way into the bottom corner. Schwarzer rooted to the ground as he's caught wrong-footed.
