Brilliantly played through by Naismith this time, and he badly scuffs the volley. Unlucky for Atsu as Gibson's excellent ball hits him in the back as he's running past the back-line. Unbelievable. Lukaku scuffs his seventh effort of the day. End to end stuff at the end with trading attacks. A bit of corner chaos at the death with Leicester having several corners in a row, all well struck. Everton weather the storm and it ends 2-2. | ||

It was already confirmed by supporters on the stadium (both from Benfica and Moreirense) that what the player said (yelled in fact) to the referee was "Seu filho da puta, estás comprado pelos lampiões" which translates to "You were paid by Benfica you motherfucker" (Lampiões is a slang word used by non Benfica supporters to classify Benfica Fans). If that is not a straight red card i don't know what is... The coach from the opposing team didn't say a word about it in the press conference.. But there's no point in arguing about this. In the end we'll have to agree to disagree. | ||
