Luis Suarez - 54 goal RVP-38 goal That was really poor decision by Mourinho. What will happen if Costa gets injured for like 2-3 months?

+ Show Spoiler + Show some god damn respect and even some determination both teams, the US fan base will fast become your bread and butter $$$ when it comes to fan base. Say what you will about our teams but we have long memories when it comes things like that.

Basasicoglu or whatever seems a certain new addition in the next few days? Nope. Squads are submitted before each round of qualifying. And only one new player can be registered between each round. And 3 new players can be changed between the group stage and the first knockout round. But a player can play for one club in the qualifying rounds, then play for another in the group stage (such as Kevin Prince-Boateng; he played the playoff round of last year's CL with Milan then the group stage with Schalke). I think Sturridge will thrive on not having Suarez around, he also actually scored more often than Suarez last season, he just didn´t have the crazy three and four goal games. Chelsea are insane to sell him though, but I guess Mourinho isn´t the guy to trust young players. Edit: scored in more games, not more often. It is not because Lukaku is young, it is because he is dumb. Like I said some pages ago this is nothing unexpected as they had a beef last season. As far as I remember Mourinho even got tired of answering why wasn't Lukaku on the team and told the reporters "if he likes to talk to the press so much why don't you ask him why he is not with us" (something along those lines). The kid messed up either in the locker room or talking too much to the press and got sidelined for that. Not because he is young. Is it a good move? From purely the football point of view probably not...from a locker room and team environment point of view it was expected to happen unless he got back from the WC with a new attitude.

‘First of all, Romelu was always very clear in his mentality. He wanted to play for Chelsea but he wanted to be clearly the first-choice striker which, in a club of our dimension, is very difficult to promise to a player. ‘After that Everton came in with an important offer. As I always say, because it’s the reality, our club wants to do things really well. We want to always be inside of the rules. Financial Fair Play is something that is always in the thoughts of Chelsea’s board. That was Mourinho being nice....Lukaku thought he deserved no1 striker jersey in Chelsea without even proving himself. Mourinho would of took him this season without no doubt but he would of had to battle with Torres and Costa to get onto the pitch. He choose Everton instead of fighting for his place at Chelsea. Shows alot about his character ^_^
