I'm a Liverpool fan, Sturridge is a good player but he did rely a lot on Luis last year.. hopefully he can keep it up. Lukaku is only 21 and will improve every year. For Chelsea to sell him is outrageous, especially when bringing in Eto'o and Drogba in the last two years.

Maybe not the best, but Lukaku can easily be compared to those strikers at his current age and within a year or two has the potential to be even better than them. For Chelsea to not even give him a chance is just terrible management.

I agree he is a fantastic young player, I just dont agree on him being the best. I think Sturridge will thrive on not having Suarez around, he also actually scored more often than Suarez last season, he just didn´t have the crazy three and four goal games.

Chelsea are insane to sell him though, but I guess Mourinho isn´t the guy to trust young players.

Edit: scored in more games, not more often.

Bah. Didn't have high hopes for Feyenoord in this but I still find this disappointing. I hope we can sat least make Europa league but watching this I wouldn't be one bit surprised if we miss out once again.

I don't really like Rutten but considering we sold almost out entire defense and Pelle can't really blame him.

I kinda agree, especially after Suarez left. I still think Sturridge, RvP and Aguero can hold their own compared to most strikers around though! Its not easy to stand out as a striker in such a physical league.

Yeah, the way we have been playing I feel doubtful we'll even make the Europa League. I just don't understand the hurry we had in selling our best players with the new rules concerning the preliminaries.

edit: Oh jeez this is just comical. Clasie is going to want to leave as well.

Ivica Vrdoljak has missed two penalties for Warsaw against Celtic. But Warsaw are still winning 3:1 after Efe Ambrose was sent off. 5:1 and this tie would have been over.
