I don't doubt that he has a lot of potential but he has to prove first. Especially in a team where he is just on amongst many. Sure, Falcao is also very good but a whole bunch of great players do not automatically build a great team, we should all have learned this by now. Don't understand me wrong, they might very well become even better than last year because they have a great coach. But best team EVER? You know there were teams who won the CL thrice in a row? | ||

Does such a phenom exist? Yaya Toure? edit: Great friendly, pretty entertaining. Love that the third Sounders goal was 3 young homegrown players from our Academy. Yedlin was brilliant in the game too, burned his mark so many times down the right side and put in great crosses. The penalty was the only mistake he had, showed some inexperience putting that arm up. | ||

He played a lot of games recently but you could argue he benefited from injuries. 2012/13 he wasnt there in the end against Barca and Dortmund (Robben was out of the starting eleven, who knows whhat would have happend). 13/14 he played a massive amount of games but in a Bayern team that was enormosly plaged with injuries. In the current roster if anybody is healthy he would battle with Thiago, and Schweinsteiger for 2 and depending on the system with Martinez, Alaba, Götze, Müller for 3 spots in the lineup. Would he play this much i dont know. Same with the National team is there a starting 11 spot for him with a healthy Khedira, Schweinsteiger and Reus as well as Özil and Götze beeing in shape? He is great but he is at his best if the system works for him and in a team with Bale and Ronaldo this will not happen. If he would have joined ManUnited and Van Gaal builds a system around him he would be the best player in PL without doubt but i am a bit afraid that he will be there for league games and overall depth and not play in the big games. | ||
