Redick, and probably Jamal Crawford to get the cap space to get Lebron and retain Griffin. The Clippers trio would be incredibly strong, but after losing those key contributors would they still be stronger than the other teams recruiting Lebron who wouldn't have to give up as much to get him? Other potential big 3's include Lebron, Carmello and Dwight Howard, which is also potentially possible if the Rockets traded Harden, or Kyrie Irving, Lebron and either Carmello or Kevin Love if the Cavs traded the number one pick and cleared some cap space. Kobe, Lebron and Carmello is also technically possible if both Lebron and Carmello were willing to take pay cuts while Kobe is making $25 million next year, and they could find a way to get rid of Nash's salary, but that seems the least likely out of a bunch of unlikely scenarios.

now i think he'll either go back to miami, clippers, or cleveland. miami is the safe choice, but cleveland has the most upside because of the rookie deals they'll have, but that is in a universe in which melo will actually go within 100 miles of cleveland.

There is no telling how long that litigation could go on. A source told ESPNDallas.com that the Mavs' front office is optimistic that the addition of Chandler significantly increases the team's odds of successfully recruiting LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony, two superstars available in free agency. "It makes us real players for LeBron and Carmelo," the source said, adding that pairing one of the perennial All-Star small forwards with Nowitzki and Chandler could give Dallas the NBA's premier frontcourt. If Tyson Chandler is one of your key selling points to Lebron or Carmelo, your chances can't be that good.

S&T Melo for Lin/Asik/Parsons/Houston's 1st. Calderon/Larkin Lin/they have another guard? Prigioni? Shumpert? Parsons/can't think of another SF PFs? Stat? Fuck, I don't know. Draft a PF? Asik/Dalembert It's no championship team, but it'd make the playoffs in the East.
