you're overgeneralizing. in canada following every every event from biathlon to women's oil wrestling got less expensive. you can watch everything streamed in HD for free on CBC.CA... and free on open air broadcast tv on cbc.
its the most free and best coverage canada has ever had.
the olympics has always tried for maximum cash revenue while paying the athletes nothing.
on another topic: Gary Betman and Rene Fasel are fighting over whether the Stanley Cup is better than Olympic Gold DURING A PRESS CONFERENCE.
i can't believe men's hockey is getting bumped on TV for the 10th end of women's curling the Jennifer Jones rink is pretty hot, but their bodies are all covered up making it pretty boring.
i don't want to look at Jennifer Jones' mom, put it on hockey guys.

Watch Jennifer Jones curl. Her hair is ALWAYS in the exact same place and her poses are always exactly the same.

I can hear the cries of all 7 Nashville Predator fans asking where the hell the Radulov that has played the last 2 games was while he was in the NHL.
|
maybe it is how the building is mic-ed up, but the building does not seem as alive as Vancouver was when Canada played elimination games.
i think Finland has progressed more as a hockey nation over the past 40 years than any other country.

Wow Russia started off really well, but in a few minutes that all crumbled and it's back to the old bullshit. Several fuckups overall bad play. This will be a loss.

No idea who to root for There's this dude that plays for Finland, wears #8 and just scored. Cheer for him. He's the most likable man in hockey. I can count on 1 hand the number of people who don't like Teemu Selanne and all 5 of them were goalies in the Smythe Division during the 1992-1993 NHL regular season.
