I don't think so but he's not the problem. With chandler out knicks are effectively a glass cannon with no defense, mediocre size and shitty rebounding. Like this game right now might not be the best example but the knicks defense resembles a bunch of pregnant woman trying to defend against 5 professional players. I don't even know why im watching this game still,I love me a good beat down dished out by my spurs but the look in woodsons eyes is down right depressing. 90-60 going in to the 4th jebuus ok that was pretty much rape

Shoulda finished my season previews but this isn't surprising. The Knicks are horrible. Again.

Tony Parker's mid-range game, pull-up jumpers and the like has been truly truly truly outrageous this early season. Having followed the spurs for a long time it's amazing to me how Parker has basically become the deadliest midrange player in the NBA after starting as a one trick pony in driving to the hoop and finishing with impunity. I have never seen a player transform so dramatically over the course of their NBA career. It's a testament to the spurs organization, and to Tony Parker's work ethic and willingness to be coached.

mm i don't really think he's the best mid range guy shooter/player or what ever you mean, parker is still at his best when he is driving and landing that tear drop or just making space for green. His mid range movement and shot has become really good but it's never going to be like rip hamilton lvl for the simple fact that it's not his job to do those kind of things.
|
Parker is shooting a higher percentage (56%) from midrange then at the hoop right now (46%). Obviously both those numbers will change. The point is not really that Parker should take more midrange shots, it's simply that the range of his game has improved so dramatically over his career.
Naturally it's best for the team if he can drive and dish but having the option to shoot from 16ft at a 50% + rate is incredibly important. Parker was unable to do this very well even in 2007. It's been an impressive progression for him relatively late in his career.
|
yea I agree he has come a long way I just don't think he's the best in the nba at it tho,as much as i'd like him to be.It just comes with the age really, you can't have the speed of a 21 year old for the rest of your career, you have to expand your game over the course of years.

amare's max contract best decision ever

Bad news guys, Javale Mcgee out indefinitely pending examination with a stress fracture in his left tibia. Now the Javale Mcgee show loses its main star, they'll have to rely on their supporting cast featuring Kendrick Perkins.

So what do they do now with shaqtin a fool? hiatus until he's back?

Knew the howard trade was sorta shit. Still got tons of games to go, but recent games have been a shitshow. Also howard yelling at lin, lol. Plz. Make ft's first

The Knicks are an embarrassment. I've got nothing else.

It wasn't a trade it was a signing. You didn't give us anything for him.
Thanks again for Jordan Hill btw.

All hail the return of Icy Hot!

I used to regard TP as the "least Spurs-ish" Spur and a necessary evil, but it has been fun watching the gameplan change so that he is now the main cog and his play seems purposeful now instead of erratic.

fucking officials, clear foul right there. Wizards got robbed

still inclined to wait the rockets situation out. For all this drama they're what? 3-2?

My attention has been divided what with the Saints game and all but they just ran literally nothing for Davis this game. He was open for dunks like 10 times and gordon and jrue just drove and drove and missed and turned it over so badly. This game was so easy to win if they just focus on their best player.

Lolol Lakers, 47 for Minny in the first?!

Lakers defense.
Magnificent!
Superb!
Fantabulous!
