Korver's shot chart is pretty sexy too. He doesn't have the volume the other two have, but his accuracy and volume from distance is ridiculous.

Drafted Korver in every league I could this year. Extremely underrated. He's actually not just a shooter either. Kinda hope Miami gets him in the offseason.

Korver is additionally impressive because teams will game plan for him somewhat. They all know what he can do so they brutally contort their defense to prevent it. Which 1) makes everything easier for everyone else on the Hawks, and 2) always has a couple gaffs and Korver just crushes people's souls for even thinking they could. It's glorious. I might have exaggerated #2 slightly.
E: Miami would have to pay him though, which they like can't do?

They can't really dump Bosh though. He has an option that pays him a boatload of money for next year, and he likely won't re-sign with most teams, so it kills his trade value.

They could take him on if the big three took pay cuts, but those ideas have been floated for bigger players like Anthony.

Yeah, I wasn't speaking in terms of reality. :p It's really just going to depend so much on what happens this year. I'm not going to criticize Bosh at all for his performance, but it would definitely seems like that 20 million would have been better spent on role players (assuming they could still have all the same brodeals from Allen, Battier, et al). He's getting paid way to much to be the best 3rd/4th option in the league.

Problem is Bosh on any other team is a 20 mil player. On Miami his defense is ignored by casual fans, and he's playing out of position with reduced usage. Tough break, but Miami can't win without him.

The problem for Miami is that they couldn't re-make this team if they wanted to. The 2011 version was always going to be the most talented version, the 2012 version probably the strongest (because of them figuring out how to play the composition they have). After that though, they had to pay players like Chalmers, and lost key cogs to injury, age, and being priced out.

So the plan always was, that unless they found a Parker or Asik with their pick (which was going to be late) they had a short window to keep the core together, and a short window in which they would have strong role players surrounding the core.

Not that its a bad plan, its a brilliant plan, and its mostly worked.

Memphis has been "Grizzly" since they got healthy. SA/OKC/LAC & HOU will all be deserving favorites in their first round match ups, but I don't think anyone would be shocked if one of the lower 4 seeds made the conference finals. Maybe Dallas, they're fun but I don't think they can guard anyone.

Saw a stat when watching the Griz game the other night that they're like 33-15 with Gasol back. That's a dangerous team that plays very good defense.

Conley hasn't been playing as well as earlier in the season so they're gonna be like the west's bulls. I like watching good team defense though and will be rooting for them over LAC or OKC.

Hmm, so Toronto wrapped up a Playoff spot and sit #3 right now in the East.

And yet they'd be #10 right now if you shifted them West. Something isn't right about the NBA system.
