Yeah he did. Stephenson could have as well, but Vogel went with Turner. Basically me first basketball, which i expected. Worked out well cause Turner was killing them. Out of a few time outs they ran some plays, which Turner is still learning, to a pretty good success.

I was most surprised at how well Turner defended Rondo.

Because they got a 2nd round pick out of the swap and it allows them to be as bad as possible so they can get a higher draft pick. The draft pick part isn't guaranteed because ordering is based on a lottery, but the worse you are, the better your odds.

Pretty much to tank. For you nerds, this was one of the more interesting nuggets of this season and the new CBA so far.

Because there is a minimum salary that the 76ers and all teams have to adhere to, this trade let them stay over the required amount they have to pay all their players while also saving them about half a million. The buyout saves them 500k(like most buyouts) while putting them over the salary threshold in a sort of mickey-mouse way.

Ofc, no one beats the Lakers in how low-a-salary team they have put out there on most nights (with their 3 highest-paid players being injured a lot)....

And no player stuck it to the league more than Andrew Bynum has this season. He continues to be smart in his contract/business decisions (not a joke).

Also, f-ing steve nash. Hobbled to his 10th game just so that they wouldn't use the stretch provision on him. What a fail by Lakers and him.

On one hand the bulls are having a great season but have virtually now chance of winning a championship this year but this also allows players in free agency to see that a team without a start is still good.

But on the other I want a good draft pick this year

On the other hand (hehe), him being out has made them one of the most rootable teams in the league these last 2 seasons. At least for me. They never give up.

Why hasn't the Knicks been flexed out of nationally televised games? I know that it's hard to flex out of Thursday and Sunday games, but Knicks getting blown out 3 straight nationally televised games is painful to watch. They have flexed the Lakers games as a precedent, but I guess Carmelo is still a big draw.
