Haven't kept up with the thread in a few pages (with the Lakers season how it is, I am waiting to get closer to the playoffs to turn up my NBA fever way up again) but I did wanna comment on how surprised I am that Butler is only 33!! lol.
Maybe it is because if feels like forever-ago since he was a Laker and his somewhat broken-down body, but I thought he was surely older.
I also enjoyed the first article of Simmon's new weekly NBA mailbag thing on Grantland for those who want something to read.

This is only like the 10th saddest Knicks game of the season. I like Jeremy Tyler though, he's been playing hard since called up.

Is this the game that DMC is suspended? I know the Lakers are always a long shot, but they might have a chance without DMC playing.

This is by far my favorite story this season. Tyreke Evans, now starting, almost misses game due to being stuck in an elevator. Just fantastic.

Can defend but terrible handles and unreliable shooting.
In saying that, Jackson tried to showhorn him as a backup PG so I'm not surprised he's playing much better now he's at SG.
