Or he's just soft. That's my other theory. I'm pretty sure it's one of the 2.

Everyone wants to get those Willis Reed or MJ flu-game props. The amount of time he spends writhing around the floor in pain is too high for the amount of game time he misses. Kobe has season ending injuries and hardly winces. Or he's just soft. That's my other theory. I'm pretty sure it's one of the 2. It's hard to play up blood spraying on the floor. He's surprisingly durable and tough if anything, considering how few games he misses. He just plays it up in the moment to try and get calls.

I really hope one day you run full steam into a man as big and strong as Ibaka swatting at your nose just to see how you respond. On that day I will call you soft.

Turner is awful though. And he's a malcontent. Granger was at least a good guy/locker room vet. Haven't watched much of Indy this year so can't comment on his form. But this is a win-win for 76ers and Indy. Low risk high reward for Pacers: they can always drop Turner if he doesn't work out (which I really doubt he will). Tank is well and truly solidified for Philly. Their intentions are fairly transparent from here on in. Otherwise a boring deadline. I think we'll see the real action once the lotto seeds are settled. edit: feel pretty ho-hum about Blake as a Dubs fan. I think he's benefited from the PG-boost MDA's system provides and I'm not really sure what he can bring in the 30 or so games left. I hope he can at least make our bench a net neutral and just be competent. Here's hoping.

Turner is also Stephenson insurance should someone sign him away for a figure Indiana doesn't feel they can match. Turner's an RFA so they can settle for him at a bit less money in order to salvage the situation.

Its a joke what has been going on there. Dude has to be thrilled to go from the worst team in the league to the best. He will go from being option number one to option number six. There will be an adjustment period, but he is more than talented enough to be an excellent sixth man for the Pacers. I love Danny Granger. Seeing him traded away fucking sucks. When I saw him photoshopped into a 76ers jersey, i felt sick. But he's not the same player he was. Turner is by far a better player on the court. The team will be better with this trade, no doubt about it.

I think the really terrible history of flopping doesn't help in this instance. When you're 6'8" and build like a brick shithouse and you build a bad rep for approaching European soccer levels of faking being illegally knocked down, you lose some credibility.

Wheelchair, but damn, I had totally forgotten about how Pierce was stabbed. Time flies.

Then you're got some terrible timing because bringing this up after he gets clocked in the face and can't keep his legs under him afterwards isn't really silly. I also think you're bonkers. The guy takes more punishment going to the hoop than basically any other player and is the best at finishing through contact, yet he's somehow soft. Flopping's a dumb thing that lots of people have done for longer than Lebron's been alive but gamesmanship isn't really being soft.
