Ive won a wrestling match where I was bleeding profusely out of my nose for a significant amount of time, but because the ref didn't see (he was looking at the other kid's shoulders) and I didn't even know it was probably 20, 25 seconds before we knew. The other kids' coach was pissed because the match should have been stopped because of the blood.
Well in Lebrons case, specifically the wooziness, falling to the ground is a pretty important 'cause' because it drastically increases rate of blood loss and changes blood pressure, which is why he couldn't get his legs.

for all those who think the Toronto Raptors signing local boy Wiggins will be some kind of panacea for increasing the fan base. whelp, 2 local boys came home tonight and the Air Canada Centre didn't even sell out.

Toronto isn't getting a top 3 pick where Wiggins will go. Wiggins to Toronto hasn't been a thing for a couple of months, since the Raptors have had a good record.

kent bazemore new face of the lakers?

Bazemore and Sacre on one team? Don't need the Laker girls anymore.

Knicks game was hilarious, led till the end and lost in double OT.

The funniest thing is this is a team Dolan expected to win it all.
I feel sorry for Melo--for all his faults he does bust his ass for that team every night when a lot of his team mates clearly don't care. Chandler and Amare are going through the motions and JR gonna JR. Felton's worried about where his next Krispy Kreme is coming from, Shump's praying for a trade and Tim Jr is all about them PPGZ.
They'd be rivaling the Bucks for #30 without Melo IMO.
|
Well it's pretty much the same team as last year that's arguably stronger on paper with Bargnani and MWP added. Everything just went to shit at the start of the season for whatever reason and then Tyson got hurt. JR's decline is also huge. The situation now would take at least two years to get out of when contracts expire and there has to be a rebuilding phrase which Dolan doesn't do.
Also the Bucks are way more talented than the Knicks, they just have an awful coach but their front office is smarter and they're actually rebuilding. Bucks have at least 3-4 guys most teams would actually take in a heartbeat.

So who misses the Playoffs in the West? As of now we have:
6. Phx 7. GSW 8. Dallas 9. Memphis
All withing 2 games of eachother. I think the Grizz are a lock out of those four teams--they'd likely already be up around 5/6 if Gasol wasn't out for 6 weeks.
I think the Dubs will make it despite inconsistency. Their D is really ramping up.
Which leave Phoenix and Dallas. Not sure here. I've been waiting for Phx to come back to the mean all year but they just keep exceeding expectations. But Dallas has Dirk and Carlisle despite being a Dad's Army team.
I think Phoenix maybe just misses out.
|
Oh and it's likely whoever does miss out will still probably be ahead of #3 in the East. Fucking shameful.
|
Worst Eastern Conference in decades and the Knicks are struggling for an 8th seed. Really can't make this shit up.
|
Bledsoe will come back before playoffs and if so there's no way PHO will miss the playoffs.

I think Phoenix maybe just misses out. Grizz will be a really scary 7th/8th seed for OKC/SA. I don't see Dallas making it and I wouldn't discount Minnie just yet.

Minny are good as gone. Can't see them making up a 6 game diff with ~25 games to go. They'll need to go on a sick run.
|
Worst Laker season in 30 years and we still sweep the Celtics. Moral victory if there ever was one.
Bonus points for doing it while Bill Simmons was doing the Celtic color commentary. :D
|
Celtics fans should be happy with the loss.
Minny haven't been able to go on a run all year, doubt it will start now. I agree it will probably be Phoenix and Dallas battling for 8th but as much as I've loved watching Dirk throughout his career, I hope PHX make it. They're too fun to watch and Dragic is amazing.

Oh but it would. Obviously it isn't happening so I dunno why you'd bother rambling on about that. Toronto has one of the better fanbases anyway despite not being in the playoffs for 5 years.

League Pass is excellent internationally. Is it really that bad in the US?
|
Man Jeff Green is doing the look just good enough to get force feed another 10 shots thing again. He has a rotation of looking like a superstar, a star, a league average starter, a 15th guy off the bench, a solid role player, and a below average starter. He has got to be the most frustrating non charecter issues player in the league to root for. That being said the Kings must be in really rough shape of the Celtics are this close with out Rondo Bradley or Sullinger.
