No idea what to think after that game vs arsenal, we didnt concede 100000 goals through shit defence, but it looked like we had no game plan apart from "dont let them score". Why does moyes keep playing Cleverly and young instead of kagawa and Januzaj and why do we keep passing backwards.
Also, when moyes was subbing Januzaj on, i honest to god thought he was going to bring cleverly off... LOLJKLETSSUBB MATA

Well the last one Adebayor had a little more to do but still. First 2 goals could easily have been avoided if Krul didn't suck this game. Definitely not his best game, but I guess he used up all his luck at White Hart Lane. Lloris, on the other hand, had a couple magnificent saves tonight! He'll be hard to replace if we can't make the top 4. How long is his contract? He won't be cheap at least. Two more years. Thankfully Begovic is still at Stoke, so he'd be the most likely replacement off the top of my head.
With two years on his contract Lloris will be around for at least another year unless Man City or Barcelona come knocking. I don't think many top clubs really need a goalkeeper at the moment. But yeah Begovic is a good goalkeeper.

Man Utd don't need much to be honest. I actually for once agree with Michael Owen, Utd have enough quality to finish top 4. A front line of Mata/Kagawa, Rooney and Van Persie would have been terrifying under Ferguson.

I mean you could tell by the reactions of players like Carrick in the last min when cleverly decided to pass the ball backwards to evra in our half instead of forwards to RVP.... i was fucking screaming at him

Don't need big names, just need shrewdness in negotiation and good scouting/networking, which Utd doesn't have anymore since the entire front office left with Fergie.

Rooney ----- RVP -----Kagawa------- Januzaj ---- Carrick ---- Mata Evra ----- Vidic ---- Rio ----- Rafa
is how our team should have been tonight.... not fucking Cleverly and young

midfield would get run over though, need a fletcher in there

If it was in summer, im pretty sure that he wouldnt've choosed Yanited just for PL.
PSG and Monaco can give same amount of money plus guaranteed CL.
I have no idea why Moyes bought Mata, he isnt a good fit for his system. Thats why he refused to buy Özil.

Well I'm pretty satisfied Liverpool fought back in this game, was way tougher than against some of the better positioned teams.
Btw, can someone put up a GIF of that body-check that Kolo made on the ref? :D

players care about money but players also care about status/team reputation, fans, what competitions they're in.. united is gonna fall short of some teams regarding money, many teams regarding what competitions they're in, but they're at least pretty close to the team with most fans in the entire world and the manchester united brand is one of the strongest as well.. They're gonna have to fail more than just one season before they are unable to attract top players or talent. Mata went there despite obviously realizing that a top 4 spot was unlikely. And for top players I don't think Europa League matters much anyway.
Also, watching Newcastle vs Tottenham highlights
shots : 13-15 shots on target 5-8 50/50 possession
after 73 minutes it was 2-0 tottenham, but Krul basically fucked up on the first two goals and Lloris had an incredible save - couldve been 1-0 Newcastle instead then. While it's totally fair that Tottenham won, it wasn't a 4-0 match at all, in fact the first match of the season, where Newcastle won, was way more one sided (with Tottenham being best).
