and newcastle basically gets destroyed by any team ahead of them at the table because they are just flat out better than them - but is actually fairly good at consistently performing against the less skilled half of the table.

Krul saves 3 times but taps it right in front of a Spurs player who can tap it in. Well the last one Adebayor had a little more to do but still. First 2 goals could easily have been avoided if Krul didn't suck this game.

Definitely not his best game, but I guess he used up all his luck at White Hart Lane. Lloris, on the other hand, had a couple magnificent saves tonight! He'll be hard to replace if we can't make the top 4.

and Arsenal keep wasting points, cant win the PL with that (which is what I would say in a normal season, but in this season all top3 keep wasting points) XDDD

Well City were fairly consistent for a while until Chelsea put a stop to it. I do think that if they pick themselves up quickly they are title favorites, their goal difference could prove crucial.

Also norwegian commentators/pundits just claimed that Pardew's position looks extremely insecure. As a Newcastle fan, that would be really disappointing to me. The way I see it, only Everton and I guess Southampton is really doing more with less than what Newcastle is pulling off. Yeah it sucks that there are some games every season where we look completely hopeless, but the PL is so incredibly competitive this season that a completely safe and secure 9th place is something I'm content with.

I think its pretty much confirmed that no Manchester United in the next CL/EL season.
