Colombia plays Holland on Tuesday I think (might be Wednesday), should be a good match as well! Let's see how those 2 teams pair up against eachother. Holland is missing van Persie though, and considering the depth of our team, that matters a lot.

Next Euro I see them being pretty hot though, right now I thinking " uhhh kindaaaa a dark horse but not realllllly"

I got the impression that Belgium had a stronger than usual squad going into the approaching World Cup. I guess it’s only a friendly anyway so there isn’t a whole lot of conclusions to be drawn from the match. We had some bad luck today, that's all. Should have gotten a penalty in the first half, hit the post twice and then our defence wasn't as good as they usually are resulting in goal 1(although Mignolet being the badass he is almost kept that one out in 1 on 1 vs Falcao ^^)

But other than those, Colombia held more possession and attacked more I feel. But it was a friendly, and pekerman used an attacking team, which is not common for him when playing away. hopefully he keeps it that way. We colombia still have some defense problems, we have one very solid defender in zapata (plays in milan) the other center defender is somewhat shaky. (perea) I agree with Twisted, the Netherlands Game will be really fun to watch its on the 19th. I have mixed feelings about it. Its probably the strongest team we have faced so far ( history and name wise) ( we seem to play good vs argentina always because of our inside history) but a big euro team is different. I am kinda wishing for a draw. why? Because we still have poor 3rd world mentality, and if we win, they will think they are the best team ever, and the media will hype up colombia big time , similar to 1994 after we 0-5 argentina, and big pressure will build up to do awesome in the WC, and we will fail miserably lol. But I hope this this players have all had european club experience that they can handle all the BS well and we should do a decent world cup. Overall, as colombians we are very proud of what Jose Pekerman has done with our team. here is Colombian usual start up line, for those who want to know a lil better our team: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/colombia/startseite/nationalmannschaft_3816.html

Kompany and Van Buyten our key defenders weren't playing and we had a rookie of 20yo playing and his mistake cost us the first goal. People keep recalling the 2 shots from Belgium on the post but that's not even worthy commenting on as Belgium should have easily scored them both; Fellaini totally useless miss the unmissable and Mertens made the difference and was clearly unlucky with the post. De Bruyne is also total garbage now, thank you Mourinho. Playing with Benteke and Lukaku didn't work out either, both totally underperformed. Most say better now in a friendly than later in the World cup. De Bruyne, Fellaini, Alderweireld all struggle to have playing time in their main team and that has a hugh effect on their performance. It's quiet a shame as we started to build up a real good team...

It was fine, I don't think this game would have went any other way with Courtois
