Spurs have made a profit in the transfer market in each of the last two summers. You can't look at the incoming without also looking at the outgoing. In fact, Spurs took in almost as much money as the rest of the Premier League combined. All the other "big" clubs kept their players and spent money on top of that. This chart should make things clearer:

It's not quite accurate because the Lamela deal involves €5m in add-ons that probably won't be reached this season, but close enough.

Jesus Christ... Richards trying out for the olympics.

#Arsenal team: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Flamini, Ramsey, Cazorla, Ozil, Giroud #MUFCvAFC
#Arsenal subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Monreal, Hayden, Gnabry, Wilshere, Bendtner #MUFCvAFC
Apparently Mertesacker is ill, now is Vermaelen's big chance to redeem himself :O No Rosicky worries me a bit : /

Absolutely loving these results today lol! Come on Sunderland!
|
By the way:
Neven Subotic has torn his ACL yesaterday, he will be out for the remaining season. Which means Sokratis will play alongside Hummels now, little to no loss in quality there. But if one of them gets injured, then it looks very bad for Dortmund
@ Steveling: There was some gossip with Mitroglou and Dortmund in the past weeks, don't know if anything of it is true though. I guess he would be a good replacement for Lewandowski.

OMG Sunderland ARE GOING TO HOLD ON wtf lmao City - lost Tottenham - lost Chelsea - draw

So a Draw would be fine for both Arsenal and ManUtd with these results haha

Yeah very fine. Wonder if tactics will change from them both? Like you say a draw is MORE THAN fine?
|
Southampton in third place going into the November international break xD
City have 1 win, 1 draw, and 4 losses in away league matches. 8 goals for 10 goals against.

I'd take a draw.

yep
arsenal wins the premier league 2 hours from now
also, lol italy? can anyone give more insight into Salernitana vs Nocerina? From the translated norwegian article I read, this was basically the turn of events: Nocerina ultras being banned from the game cause of safety reasons, then supposedly the ultras threaten the nocerina players and demand of them that they do not play the game, then once the game starts, immediately 3 nocerina players are subbed off and then 5 players leave the field with supposed injuries, leading to them only fielding 6 players (7 being the required number), then the game stops and nocerina board of directors resigns? how is this happening in europe in 2013?

In this case, I guess even Pandemona couldn't deny that they are a serious contender for the title this season, even with invincible Mourinho leading Chelsea

yeah, but while Liverpool and Southampton might not have the strength for a title challenge, they are strong contenders for top4 and then there's still Everton If Arsenal win today, the title might be decided, but other CL spots will be harder to guess than any other year.

xD Ok if you say so The 3 teams you just listed have 0 squad depth and thats the reason they can't be considered imo Liverpool: if Suarez or Sturridge gets injured they dont score Southampton: If Llanna Lambert get injured they are screwed Everton: If any of their first 11 get injured they are screwed
Just my opinion though :D

LOL just realised vermaelen and vidic look exactly the same
