Bringing up howard and the saga was getting eye rolls from everyone last few weeks, seriously. It took him 3 years to decide what he wanted and he didn't really make up his mind until the flight almost landed with reports of his decisions out already; funny because it is so believable. He still has growing up to do but I think he is gonna crush next few years. Lakers will also do fine with or without him. If they go under the salary cap in 2014, it might be the first time that's ever happened, at least since I can remember. edit:tldr: logic of in-denial fan

Anyway, Pau back at center. He was a monster in the Olympics at center, looking forward to some actual post moves.

Dubs need to pick-up a back-up bigman and PG soon with the little $$ they have left. Options thinning fast.

Smith headed there on 4 year deal. http://nba.si.com/2013/07/06/josh-smith-signs-pistons-hawks-detroit-atlanta-four-year-deal-contract/?sct=hp_t2_a2&eref=sihp I'm okay with it. 1. Greater flexibility if they want to move Monroe 2. Buys more time if Drummond needs it 3. They can be excellent defensively 4. Should be athletic and exciting Obviously spacing is a major issue and we need to solve the PG issue, but as long as its only one big signing I think it's okay. Smith is a two way player (unlike Gordon and CV) and they have much more flexibility after this signing than they did after the last time. The Pistons kept their expiring contracts, and Dumars is best at making trades.
