Although I don't like the Lakers building the team around D'Antoni, I do like Ryan Kelly. He will have to gain some muscle/weight but seems like a smart, hardworking guy.

All rumors I've seen indicate that Houston is a front-runner for him so I wouldn't be surprised, Morey has willingly gotten rid of value before in search of a bigger prize.

Morey isn't doing this on the off chance he signs there. I'd say it's 90%+ that Dwight goes to Houston.

I'm torn on both of those potential moves. I know Asik and Howard are a bit redundant and could clog the lane but it would also make them substantially stronger on defense and a better fit for taking on bigger teams. Asik's contract turned out to be a steal for the first two years, but we know Houston always wanted to move him before that third 14m year. Asik's young and because of that 5m this year, his trade value is higher than ever. Beverly definitely outshined Lin during the playoffs, but there's so little depth at PG now and it's probably worth waiting to see how Beverly turns out during the regular season. On top of that, I figured Lin's popularity in China offset his cost. Maybe it's because he'll hate being a backup again? Also: Ken Berger Are you fucking kidding me? Unfortunately, I think Joe might actually take it because 3 score-first PGs is never enough for one team! He's like Matt Millen and WRs.@KBergCBS Another possible landing spot for Jeremy Lin is Detroit, source says. Rockets would acquire Jose Calderon in sign-and-trade in such a deal.

I'd go all out for Dwight. Smith is fools gold. You could probably make a smaller signing like Carl Landry at the PF. Or maybe Terrence Jones is ready for more minutes?

Dwight's teams have worked well with a stretch PF in the past so I wouldn't be surprised if the Rockets explored options in that regard. Not too much available in that regard though and the Rockets are fast running out of assets.
