That I can agree with.

There needs to be a trollface shopped onto Duncan in that gif asap.

Ha, nah, I'm just lamenting the blow outs. One team will start making shots and the other can't go with them. The series has been defined by very streaky shooting and only really game one has been decent in terms of producing a gripping contest.

I don't think we'll see Blair much. I would expect Bonner for floor spacing to stretch the D but Diaw played sort of well so maybe pop goes with him...dunno. Maybe Pop goes old-school and outright start Manu - cuz hes CRAZY!

I'm not in disbelief or anything, because some people will stick to their guns, but I am at least a little surprised at how much flak the refs are getting around some other sites I read after this game. Miami got some favorable calls, and the Spurs got some favorable calls(about the amount you expect the home team to get, not a complaint). If you play 'that game,' the Spurs almost doubled up Miami in FTA's despite being the team that lost in rebounding(specifically offensive boards) and points in the paint, 2 stats the generally trend toward getting foul calls.
People legit think the league is 100% fixed and that this game was a Stern event, makes me sad =[

I expected Wade to go HAM this game. Didn't watch the game but looks like I was right!

^easy to say that after it happened...

I don't think it was particularly biased but it was easily the worst officiated game of the series. A couple of calls in the 2nd quarter really helped Miami with momentum like Wade clearly raking Splitter for a steal and Lebron fast break. The Bosh flop instead of a Spurs layup was also a shocker. I'm an ardent Spurs fanboy but they really lost this game with terrible passing, ft shooting and rebounding. The refs weren't really a factor in that.
It also confuses my why the Spurs aren't feeding Duncan in the post a lot more. If they don't double he can take Bosh/whoever and if they do then shift it to one of our many shooters... We looked like headless chooks today with Parker off the floor and kept throwing stupid cross-court passes under pressure. I'm not particularly worried about scoring, just as long as we take care of the ball and keep it simple for game 5. Still looks like Spurs can take 5 and then 7 because Miami only play well after losses.

Spurs shot 14 more free throws and had 8 less fouls called on them.

Danny Green really should only be allowed to shoot threes. He looks so awkward once he puts the ball on the floor.

make or miss league. might be fools gold if wade decides midrange js are good shots. that said the miller>haslem for the heat's spacing. good series, too bad each game has been pretty lol

That shit was embarrassing to watch. I'd rather have Battier out there. Yeah he's cold, but the Spurs still have to respect his range, which gets practically the same thing done anyway, only Battier understands how the Heat's defensive scheme works.

true. moral of the story is lolhaslem

We need a compilation of Splitter getting blocked.

Wade has been 'bad' for a lot more than a 10 game sample. And he hasn't looked like 'Flash!' since way back into their winning streak. This game was seriously some out of nowhere vintage D-Wade shit, don't pretend like you expected him to break out with 33 points with some sick work in the paint after how he has played for the last like, 3 months.
Wade has only been bad in the playoffs, which is an 18 game sample, not "a lot more" than a 10 game sample. He closed out the season doing 21/5/6 on 54% shooting over the last 20 games or something along those lines. Of course he doesn't have the athletic ability he once has, but he has changed his game up a lot and is still a really good player and top 10 in my mind. I wouldn't even call this performance vintage D-wade. All he did was hit his shots that he should have been making since the start of the playoffs, he didn't overwhelm his opponents with explosive athleticism.

I think most people have been saying that he has been injured these playoffs and hasn't shown the consistency we are used to. The prob-bet on Wade yesterday was if he would get over 14.5 points in the game IRC ( I was really debating on taking it so I remember), which shows how this game was a bit of a surprise from him. He had one good game, don't go getting all crazy on small samples =P ..He just has to keep doing it though. But I hear you, I expected D.Wade to play well yesterday (heat made me $$ even though I didn't do that prop-bet) but I am only saying the truth.
edit: clarity. also, my tip from yesterday: + Show Spoiler +On June 14 2013 08:18 MassHysteria wrote: Should be a good game tonight. Best game of series imo.
Heat haven't lost back to back in like 60 games or so, so if SA wins they deserve it. Heat at -1.5 last time I saw and if parker was healthier it would be even higher odds for the Spurs.
I expect a comeback from the LBJ and Heat though.

Heat at -1.5 means they were favored
