Mike Miller retiring would probably allow them to sign 2 more players. Battier would be another.
I'm not sure how athletic he is anymore but they've still got Lewis, plus the role players they need are a dime a dozen. Korver's a FA. Reddick is a FA. Or they help Bosh out with a Jermaine O'Neal or Elton Brand.

??? I like Jacoby, he is an excellent host for the podcast.
I think he tries too hard in what I have heard so far. To be fair, I have only heard him about 2 or 3 times, so it is only someone's opinion from limited hearing.
Thats what I thought at the start too, but you get used to it and thats just how their podcast work, and it works well. It produces a lot of interesting discussions.
Fair enough. I guess my deeper thoughts are that his persona forces Simmons to be more serious to be able to contrast him and make good TV. And to me, Simmons is at his best when he is just a funny nerd saying what's on his mind but these were just starting thoughts you are right, I will check him out some more.
To say that the Heat didn't play well during this year's playoffs and were merely lucky is disrespectful to the teams they beat. The Bulls played with such effort that it was heartbreaking. The Pacers are a machine designed to beat the Heat, and likely will, very soon. The Spurs were the perfect final Boss (Manu's disappearance more than made up ffor by Kawhi's and Green's big play).
