Well it could be they were saving it for the finals, since it's not something you can do often and there's a window where you feel _amazing_. Or he was resisting it, because cortisone shots are fucking terrible for you. Or he just overcame the pain and played awesome. Only him and the trainers know. ![]()

He only takes it when he feels it is a must maybe? I am sure it's all up to him. A lot of football players shoot up every single game in the NFL but the games are a week apart. But the real point is that he can only do this in spurts now seemingly(and I haven't said anything negative of him irc). It is not fair to compare him to the 2006 finals wade version ofc, because he was at a level then that has only really been reached by Jordan or Kobe at that stage. But if we compare him to his earlier years, his athleticism has definitely fallen. Wade and LBJ are the special 2 combo for the Heat. Two awesome 2-way perimeter players. If Wade can play like this every game, he makes it easier for LBJ and them more of a lock to win. But the Heat just hustled on D today too. Even so, I don't see the Heat winning it next year (even if they win this year and are favorites) unless they make some additions.

Has no one watched the guy play since those finals? :/ I think they reference 2006 because the Heat were actually making it past the first round then. ![]() Although the 2006 comparison is really bad, cause Wade isn't taking 20 FTs a game this series.

But I will agree with saying he looked like 2009 Wade today. Hopefully he can keep doing it rest of series.

Nah they'll disappear again for the next one, can't have two games like that in a row. Also unlikely Spurs will turn it over 18 times, lose on the boards and miss a ton of ft's again. Good chance of it coming down to game 7 in Miami imo Ginobili taking retarded contested threes in the second half really killed us aside from the turnovers. He's not on the court for his shooting anymore unless he's driving/wide open.
