Mostly, yeah. About shoulder width and pointed a few degrees out.

I think i've got mine 15 degrees out, I'll work on bringing them closer together
how about your foot positions when you catch the bar during your C&J and snatches?
|
Usually a bit wider and pointed out. I'm working on popping my heels out more and feet more forward so I can get my hips down lower between my legs. You can prob see my foot positions in my vids/pics.

Aren't you reading kelly star's book as well? He tells you to keep the feet as parallel as possible. That book is a sick piece of work, everybody should have read it at least once. I'm not completely thru yet tho.

You're not smoking right?
|
i cut down and quit again a few days ago. started back whilst on my bulgaria holiday :|

Well you're done 'quitting' then. Clearly other people holding you responsible does absolutely nothing, so either stop smoking or keep smoking but stop lying to people that you're 'quitting'.

I wish he would just put the PDF up on sale. I bought the book, but it's so damn big and heavy and clunky, and you obviously can't ctrl+F irl

I got the book too, it's pretty good. I haven't gotten into all of the mobilizations but so far the things he says about torque and bracing the spine and stuff have been interesting.
Today's training:
squat 260lb x 5,4,5,5,5 high hang clean triples 165 165 175 185 195 205 halting clean dl 205x3x3 SLDL 205x5 220x5x3
PR for hang cleans, felt fast-ish. + Show Spoiler +

Sup!
Squat: 120kg x 3 x 5 (super ez, I was astonished at how easy it was, I can't believe I haven't lost that much strength ;o!). Deadlift (speed) 40kg x 3 x 5 (speed, focusing on form, and was tired!) Pullups: 5-5-5 @ BW
This should give you an idea of how fat I am haha.
Gogog me!

Keep the bar close when lowering the bar in the hang. You are leaving the bar out while trying to bang the bar with your hips.

you know if we made a post of every mention you've made regarding quitting it would be a really effective way to show kids that smoking's bad.
