Pulled a difficult 155 for 5 today... Maxed out on this weight a mere two weeks ago.
If this keeps up, I'll be getting world records in a few months! (lol)

I've been hovering over the same numbers for far too long. At one point I fix my form, at others I have a break, at some I simply don't focus on eating and sleeping enough. I'm tired of it, and will eat and sleep and train however I need to to blast through my previous records. It's on.

Pulls felt heavy today. Squats and Presses were good and easy.
Dropped half a kg of bodyweight during the last weak, eating approximately ~3750kcal per day. I would like to get back to around 101-102kg during the next two months and stay at that bodyweight.

Seated Calf Raises 15x125, 12x140, 10x150
Upright Row 12x60, 10x70, 8x70
Did some bodyweight abdominal stuff and then some circuit training (stairs, jump rope, sledgehammer hits, agility ladder)

Feel pretty good about my workout. Time for some pasta

Edit Number 2: Also I have question about the thread. What does it mean in the OP when it says "2013 Thread Total" and then has a bunch of weights for different lifts?

Dunno what realistic goals I should set. I've squatted 260lbs 3x5 before but I've lost weight and feel weaker overall, so I'm trying to get myself out of that laziness.

I'm tracking the cumulative numbers ("current") every time someone posts a goals update with one of those lifts. So the "squat total" for example, is the cumulative weight in kilograms of everyone listed in the OP with a current value for their squat. The 2012 totals are from the previous thread; I just thought it would be a cool way to watch our community grow in size/strength over time.

Had a good day today. Just tested out my deadlift and I felt surprisingly strong.

DL x reps x sets
40kg x 5 x 2
80kg x 5 x 2
120kg x 3 x 2
140kg x 1
150kg x 1
160kg x 1 - Failed halfway up
140kg x 1 - Hold
120kg x 1 - Hold
80kg x 1 - Hold

Not bad considering my all time PR is 160kg which I set back in September. I guess that break through December didn't really harm my strength for these too much. On the 160kg attempt I felt like form was slightly off. It felt like I started with my hips too low and didn't engage my hamstrings enough.

Safe to say I was screwed for squats after that (for most of last year I was deadlifting before squats). Also did some Cleans. Really need to work on my second pull which is atrocious.

Did a crossfit workout today. OH MAN. I saw on their page that the WOD was like 3 power cleans with 80kg, 5 air squats in one minute for 10 minutes, then 250 sit-ups for time. I had my romaleos on and I was ready to fucking own shit and they made me do the "try out" wod, fucking 3 rounds of 20 lunges with a 15lb plate overhead lol, 20 mountain climbers and 20 knees to elbows (? never done any of it before). It was stupid and easy. I was watching people power clean, they all pull with their arms, they don't even make contact with the bar and pretty much all of them get on their toes before finishing the pull. And the jerks. Oh my god the jerks, even the coach had a horrible jerk, kind of like a 2-time walking split press out. At the end I asked him if I could grab a bar to do some snatches and the fucking douche didn't let me because I hadn't signed the paperwork freeing them from liability if I got injured fuuuu I wanted to clean and jerk something in front of him to show him what not-horrible technique looks like, then slam the bar on his head. On the plus side they have some Muscle Driver and Rogue equipment, nice gym. Mexican cross fit for the win.

You can have some of ours. There are three in syracuse, and another ~15 minutes away. The nicest one (awesome faciliti pes, beyond stupid programming) is $150 per month, the cheapest would be (for me with a emt/firefighter discount) $85/month. At those prices, i would be better off building a home gym i think.

rofl insanely expensive. I just go to a POS gym here. I pay 200 BsF (You can convert that to legal or blackmarket $) and I do ok, they (for the most part, there's always the "use a belt" and "watch out you're gonna break your back with those weights" guy who do their job) don't bother me at all for the most part.

Speed deadlift (70%): 6x3 @ 265 lbs (90-120 sec rest b/w sets)

Stiff-leg deadlift: 3X8 reps (135)
Bent over row: 3X8 reps (135)
Underhand (reverse) grip lat pulldown: 3X8 reps (105)
Arched back good morning: 3X8 reps (135)

Not a fan of the good mornings at all. Can I do weighted hyper extensions instead?

Also I haven't really paid much attention to the amount of weight on assistance or have any desire to up it, as long as I can feel it. Is this okay? Im usually pretty burnt out after warming up to heavy double and doing a shit load of speed sets. Gunna pull my old max for a double next week, wish me luck haha.
