I've never been to a non-crossfit gym with more than 1 squat rack, or bench rack.
I've never EVER been to a gym with more than 1 squat rack and more than 1 bench rack.

So I didn't have aids (hopefully) but got a pretty tough flu, lyed on bed for an entire week. On thursday (last week)I tried to train and both legs cramped at 60kgx5, so I was super sick.

Light day, trying not to kill myself (never been more than 7 days without going to the gym in 2 years I think)

Squat 120kgx5x5
OHP 60kgx5x2, 2x3
Pullups BW 10x2

Sucks that I missed almost 2 weeks of training , my strength seems ok now, unlike last week when I was probably way sicker than I admited. Will get drunk today+tomorrow and go full retard on training afterwards as nationals are somewhere in november and there is a Bench only competition at my uni and I want to win it (Some big guys can bench 140-150 it seems, so its open)

In my gym theres 1 squat rack and 2 bench press benches, but there's no way you could use the bench to squat. It's the same for all the commercial gyms in my area; I'd have to pay a lot more to go to any gym with 2+ squat racks.

I go to LA Fitness. 2 squat racks, 1 power rack, 4 flat benches with barbell racks. No specific place to do deadlifts and no platforms/bumper plates for Olympic lifting, but there are curl stations so people rarely occupy the squat racks curling at least. For a $30/mo no contract globo gym, I've been happy with them.
Of course, you only live one life, and you make all your mistakes, and learn what not to do, and that’s the end of you.

My gym has 19 squat/bench racks (but only 8 benches)

But I do crossfit so I guess that's expected

*and nobody ever does curls

I lucked out and have a powerlifting/strongman gym close to work/school. Kinda ghetto, but we have a monolift + Show Spoiler +

, two power racks, free-standing squat stands for the Oly dudes and a crossfit-style wall rig with about 8 or so stations where one could squat. Also, being sort of in the ghetto it's $20/month and in the mornings I'm usually the only one there. Pretty much perfect.

Also, funny story, I randomly ran into a certain MLG-level SC2 caster benching there once (not inControl ). He was pretty surprised to be recognized by some dude at the gym, but was super cool. Hooked me up with HotS beta even lol.

I just moved into a new flat and went to my uni gym for the first time in 2 months. It feels good to once again be living with people who understand that I want to eat large amounts of food for every meal and hit certain protein targets.

My gym has 3 power racks and no other places to barbell bench or squat. They're building an extension though which is apparently going to involve a bigger weights room and not just another floor with more elliptical machines.

First rain in weeks(sadly not a lot). Usually I don't like it when it rains and I have to train but today it was still really warm so I trained with my normal clothes. Was kind of awesome plus all the lighting in the sky felt really invigorating.

Took my girlfriend to the gym to assist her with barbell lifting. Turns out it is really difficult to get a 95 pound girl started with just the bar ...

It can be awkward for first-timers to just figure out what it feels like with weight on your back, let alone a significant amount. At least she came to the gym!

You could just start her off with dumbell bench, row, deadlift and squats untill she is strong enough to use the bar.

Whooooo deadlifted 3 times in the past two weeks without pain.

Went back to my original form, closer to clean starting position than "real" deadlifts, doing some self manipulation in my lower back, regularly popping my SI back into place, a LOT of stretching of my piriformis and hip flexors, and and foam rolling the whole area every two days or so.

Oh, and tons and tons of split squats. The majority of the improvement I credit to these. If anyone is having lower back/hip/hamstring problems, give them a try!

So I'm working out about every day. Cardio and full body strength workouts so far at this time. Where it gets tough is I want to consume 150 grams of protein a day and I'm a vegetarian. I don't even eat chicken or fish (though I still eat eggs and dairy).

Powders alone aren't going to be enough to hit 150, what kind of meals should I start cooking!
Why would I play sctoo when I can play BW?

That's awesome news. I'm not there but I've been away from gym since April-ish and just doing bodyweight. You've encouraged me to get back to my split squats!
