She can fall walking up or down stairs, or doing a lot of things. I'd say that, assuming your doctor and trainer are both properly in the loop, it's probably not worse than anything else.

COZ AT LEAST SHE'S WORKING OUT DUH Narrow minded, that's what it is. Really unsure how you jumped to that conclusion. She's an elite level lifter (by America standards) and not doing anything strenuous enough to cause harm.

I've also got a 6 page review of the GORUCK challenge, class 390 in Orlando, FL that I took part in. This is an article that is in the works of being placed inside Obstacle Racing Magazine. PM me for the .pdf if you're interested.

"I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank all of my friends & fellow lifters who have reached out recently & over the last 9 months to show love and support. I've received a ridiculous amount of viral harassment recently over my lifting. Not sure why this is anyone's concern other than my husband and my doctor who are both very supportive of what I do... I don't know of any expectant mom who would do anything they feel is unsafe & I am no different. I'm doing what I feel is best for me. So if you have a problem with strong and healthy, please just keep your negative comments to yourself. Thank you .." Plus she just pulled 150kg dl with ease. :D

Plus she just pulled 150kg dl with ease. :D I myself have seen pregnant women do incredibly stupid things that put their child at risk. From smoking to drinking to burpees (no joke), I am not one to assume that others are going to make the smart choice. How is she unsure why this is anyone else's concern, she's putting these videos up for public consumption! As an elite lifter and athlete, she has the responsibility to communicate with the public if she is going to show off her exploits, and lifting while pregnant is a big one. "Monkey see, Monkey do" may be cliche as hell, but it definitely holds true in many cases, and I think everyone who spends some time in the gym knows that a lot of people need to be told to "hold off on that power clean". If I had a dime every time I saw some schmo (or schma in this case I guess) poorly imitate a youtube video in the gym, I'd be a rich man.

not sure if the work I'm doing on my hip as "rehab" is making things worse or better - before, there was only pain when I was doing squats or DL. Now, I feel good when I'm doing my "rehab" exercises (obliques, glutes, and lower back strengthening stuff, lots of foam rolling/stretching, single sided hamstring stuff) but I've started getting pain in my daily life again. I hate not being able to see a doctor =(.

The student health center would give me a referral to see a PT, ortho, or chiro if I asked them, but again I wouldn't be able to afford the deductible before my insurance started covering any of the three of them. Just gonna keep doing what I'm doing - the major source of the pain is the foam rolling, which I'm assuming is a spasm from my various hip muscles after being loosened up. If I keep working on it, that will hopefully go away eventually.

I dont know her but I see her videos since we have mutual friends so thats probably how it spread. Ahh ok. I guess I'm more mad at whoever put the video up haha.

I was in a similar boat dude, I was putting off going to the PT for my knee and hip issues, and I thought that foam rolling would push me through it. I was wrong. PT did way more than foam rolling alone ever did. I did have an excellent PT however, and that certainly plays a role in how effective the rehab is.

I know for certain that I've got an SI and (I think also) a pirriformis problem. I know I should go to a PT. Unfortunately I'm a college student, and I typically struggle to buy enough groceries to maintain my weight, let alone gain it. An additional 40-60 dollars per visit until my deductible (couple hundred bucks) is covered would mean I either don't eat or can't pay my rent. Someday, when I have a real job =/.
