Was really unfortunate for Malaga cause they did basically what they wanted but now are way behind in the tie cause of that wrongful goal. Also really want to see Bayern vs. Barcelona this year, that would be an amazing match (and I think Bayern's play would be very effective against them. I want to bet on them cause Barcelona would probably be decent favs).

I don't know how to analyze the game after the 0-2 though, it seems like Bayern had a hard time playing against the crazy English football style which is basically 'no tactic, just run everywhere' and we were closer to a 2-2 than a 1-3 at some point. Was Bayern tired after giving a lot during the first part of the game or were they just controlling the game? Hard to say... What's sure is I would really love to see them play vs Barcelona! As a Barca supporter, I would prefer to meet them before the finals though, they seem like the team able to destroy you in one game if they smell blood, but with 2 games I think Barcelona has the advantage since Bayern really hates running behind the ball and 180mn would give us the edge. About Arsenal, I really feel that they could have done better, Bayern's tactic invited them to have more goal attempts but they failed to pass the ball correctly in the last part of the field;;; Which is really weird because with the midfield they had, they should have had the technical skills to do that just fine... And with that midfield, if you're not efficient, you will pay for it, even more against Bayern. I think it's time for the Gunners to invest in a physical midfielder to replace Song gone and Diaby never there, because they can't win games against big opponents without more muscle (Arteta, Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla, what are you gonna do vs these teams if your plan goes wrong? :s)..

Bayern have a similar style to Barcelona so they would fight fire with fire. But this is not a good approach since Barcelona's play is more stable and refined so I would give them the edge. Dortmund's style on the other hand somewhat counters Barcelona's with a better organized and pressuring defense and the ability to switch fast into counterattacking.

Ever since the Klopp era, Dortmund is all about offense offense offense. They concede a ton of goals (+21 in Bundesliga compared to Bayern) and it's been that way for several seasons now. tbh I think Barca on their best day should be able to crush both teams, but it should look a lot more onesided against Dortmund's kind of style.

"several seasons".... kkkkkk Since Klopp is there, there was only one (full) season where Bayern had a way better defense(09/10, 11 goals difference) than Dortmund. But it's true, this season Dortmunds defense sucks compared to the last seasons.

Dortmund would be set up to play counter as that is what they are used to, and with the pace they have the counter would be twice as good as Bayern's as i feel the only "true pace" in Bayerns team is Ribery and Robben, and well Robben sits on the bench alot (through injury maybe, but still on the bench) 58% vs 42% possesion stats. 17shots, only 6 of those on target. Lots of fouls (even though the ref was pretty poor, guess can't read to much into that stat) Then again it wasn't Bayern's best defense, Hummels Boateng were out? I'm guessing one of those play LB as Rafhina or whatever is absolute awful positional wise. Will be very interested to see what they are like at home, as i guess it will be different, but they have to play a lot better away from home if they want to challenge for the Champs League Barca Real Madrid Man Utd ------------------- Rest don't have a chance (imo at this moment in time)

Why did they not try and keep the ball and pass it around? Instead they sat back (Ribery playing much of the game at LB it felt) and if they did that vs Barca they would get eaten alive, unless they have got some even better defending than what i witnessed last night at the Emirates. I thought they played a brilliant game. Despite letting Arsenal have 60% of the ball they only conceded 3 shots on goal. The whole team worked hard to shut down the Arsenal attack. Then when they did have possession they put in more effective crosses and long balls to create their chances. It's just another way of playing the game and it worked superbly.
