I'm on my beautiful island for easter vacations atm, missed the game last night and just now got the time to look at the forums. It should be a pretty good game with rm missing only 1 goal to advance?
I may even miss barca's game today,Q_Q_Q_Q. Oh well, I hope barca will put on a worthy show, unlike the first leg. Cheers!

I would cry with joy if that happened. Would be so incredibly satisfying
care to explain why?
Because it would be satisfying to show Bayern that no matter how much you spend and how much better your roster is on paper, BVB will always haunt your dreams. :D
nope. on the 25th of may at wembley, all the bvb fanboys will finally realize that the past two and a half seasons have been a beautiful dream that is now fading away. they will realize the painful truth that bayern will - in the long run - always be the superior team and superior club.
in case someone didnt notice yet: I'm a bayern fan (from munich).
Well, you can be proud of the fact that your club is made of money while the rest of us are actually made of passion and fight. It'll be that much more satisfying when you lose trophies to teams with less than half of your player payroll. I'd much rather do something special every couple years and win as the underdog than be the constant favorite and be a disappointment any time I lose.
this sounds like bayern fans are not as passionate because the management of bayern did a freaking awesome job over the past decades? maybe i missread your point, but this sounds kinda... meh.
Of course there are passionate Bayern fans, but 80% of the Bayern "fans" are just glory hunters. Same goes for clubs like Barca or ManU.
Yes, the majority of the fans of recently successful clubs are glory hunters.
Its Bayerns fault for managing their club well.
These arguments against Bayern get progressively more stupid.
I like Dortmund but if Dortmund fans are going to make comments like these ...pshhh
I dont think you realise it but your quite literally doing the same thing your accusing other fans off crawling out of the walls like this so chill..
You do know that, throughout their history, Dortmund has repeatedly gone through financial struggles and has had slumps of form, right? Financial troubles and relegation in the 70's and 80's, and for a decade before our 2011 German title we had more financial troubles and hovered around the middle of the table (or worse).
So no, Dortmund fans are not like Bayern fans, who support a club that has been the heavy favorite for every decade since the Bundesliga was formed.
As for the game today, probably a 2-0 for Bayern. Simply 0% chance for Barca to advance.

You are crying already how unfair it is that bayern fans have such a bad reputation. Its all well deserved. They are all gloryhugging wannabee fans. Go sit down in your fancy stadium and clap everytime someone gets the ball. But dont be mad because no real fan respects you guys.
I will never ever buy the argument that supporting a less successful club is somehow more honorable than supporting a perennially successful one.
Let me give a brief overview of the story of the Pittsburgh Pirates, my hometown baseball team. Historically a proud and successful franchise, they enjoyed their last good years when I was a 5-6 year old kid and avid baseball player and obsessed fan myself, they were exciting, and had young Barry Bonds. When they kept some other players instead of him when cutting payroll and rebuilding, that was the start of a brutal stretch--they haven't won more games than lost in a season since then, 1992.
The immense mismanagement since then is hard to even describe, constant baffling personnel decisions, an owner who didn't really care to field a winning team and just put out the cheapest possible teams to collect profits from revenue sharing--and then the city with our tax dollars built them a beautiful new stadium in the midst of this (with way more expensive tickets obviously, and I've been to a total of 1 game there, after going to like 10 games a year when I was younger). My interest waned to nothing pretty quickly in all this, and now I can name exactly 1 player on their team. Now if I supported the team through thick and thin, what exactly would I be doing? I would be rewarding this behavior with my money and interest, which is so absurd it's basically unfathomable.
If you fail more than just sporadically at your job, the whole reason I give you my money and interest, putting out a good and entertaining sports team, I will not reward you, and I don't think anyone should.

Yes I do know that, very well.
That having been said you cannot criticize a club because they are "made of money."
Everyone loves a good comeback from an adversity story but if your just going to be dicks about it its going to wear thin really quickly.
What gives you the right to say that because your club has been less successful historically that you are a better fan or supporter. That is absurd.

You know how i pick my favorite baseball team? Their hats...whoever has the nicest baseball cap(hat) i pick them. Pittsburgh Pirates hat is pro (nice P) i have one of those. Oakland Atheltics i have theirs aswell, plus the film moneyball made me go OOOOOO. Then theirs Baltimore Orioles, another pro hat so i like them too

Haha that's what I was thinking since playoffs from Dortmund's perspective. "Okay we did awesome until here, it's okay if we take our exit against Donezk/Malaga/Real but please do not draw Bayern and lose against them." Right now I'm just happy... no... enthusiastic we reached the finals.
