Going for 120kg bench press PR next time, this will make a total of 450kg (almost 1k lb) or 6x BW, which would make a nice conclusion for the year of 2012

Started working out 4 months ago. Already put on 9 kilos (178cm, 69kg now). Obviously I still have a long way to go. I really want to pick up oly lifting. It's hard to find facilities and a coach in Vienna though /:
my stats as of now are
bench 65kg 5rm
high bar squat 90k 5rm
deadlift 105kg 3rm
OHP 40kg 5rm

Been stalling on OHP for quite some time now, but oh well, starting a new routine and now it doesn't interfere with my benching anymore as it used to be on the same day~

Despite some drinking last night I woke up full of energy and free of any connective tissue soreness. I took that as a sign that my deload is complete, and after I succesfully threw out my sigarettes instead of smoking some, I headed into the garage for heavy back work. Ended up pulling a new PR single even after lots of heavy rep work. I have a feeling I am pulling with better technique now, even though I have no idea what I'm doing different. My deadlift PR is still slightly below my squat PR but I have a feeling that is about to change. Today is a good day.

Chin ups 3x3 +32.5kg
Dumbbell BP 3-1-4-3 38kg - The 1 rep was a set where some guy started spotting me by touching my elbows and holding them when he thought I was going too deep.

Lol, there's nothing worse than incapable spotters. It doesn't matter if you tell em when you actually need help and how many reps you gonna do, they'll still curl the bar if they see you struggling just a tiny bit, guess they're so used to curling and they don't want you have gains.

Yeah, I'm usually very hesitant about asking people to spot me. What usually happens is I tell them "Don't touch the bar unless I say something" and then have my rep ruined by the spotter at the first sign of me slowing down. It makes benching very stressful, I either have someone potentially ruin my set or I have to use a lower weight than what I want just so I'm confident I won't need a spot.

Got 75lb chin-up x1 without too much trouble. Went for 90 and I got my face to the bar but didn't have the finishing strength. Pretty happy with how easy 75 felt

I'm front squatting and cleaning (knew the vids already, thank you) as of now, don't dare to snatch without an oly coach though. I think my routine's good, started a new one. Excited to see what kinds of gains I'll make, hopefully all kinds of gains. I'll try to join a weightlifting club once I'm done with civil service, for now I'm just aiming for a nice strength base.

Don't be scared of the Snatch! It's crazy difficult but the only way to get better is practice and if you join a club already having the body movement down that muscle memory will pay dividends when you start putting on weight at an oly club
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

the knee is still improving, hoping to squat much more next year

AM (fasted high on coffee): 15min speed walk, bicep curl and tricep extension superset

PM: Squat 150kgx3x10, OHP 65kgx3x2, 60x3x8

God I had forgoten how terrible the 10 sets are, I was sweating like a pig and drank like a liter of water. Good times
Down to +-79 kg already.

next week I'm going 100% with twice a day training, given exams are over.
