He's considered one of the better players in a smaller club in Holland right now. Definitely moving for a bigger/better club soon. Quality-wise, he's on level with Van Wolfswinkel before he left. I'd say he has good vision, good skill, good strength, decent speed, decent shot. Or watch this: (might be hard to tell who, not the really tall guy).
Opta Sports on Twitter: "63.3% - Of the 128 managers to have taken charge of at least 10 CL matches, Bayern manager Jupp Heynckes has the best win percentage (63.3%). Dominant."
And people called me a pessimist, ages back, for thinking Arsenal needed a dramatic shake-up. Good thing I've managed to emotionally distance myself from the fortunes of the club. After all, only the insane, the naive, or the idiotic would keep expecting things to get better, while the club does the exact same things over and over and over and over again. At this point in time, you cannot be an Arsenal fan without having a little masochistic streak.

Arsenal are fucked, not only now but for the future as well. Their owners seem to think that they can get along just fine by producing a couple of good players out of their academy every few years and selling everyone else. Wenger is OK but he should really have left when he lost the invincibles, his way of seeing things is just too rigid. He still has his team playing 2003 football, the game is very different now. Vermaelen, Mertesacker, what a load of crap. If your defenders are going to give the ball away, at least tell them not to do it just outside your own penalty area FFS, and that corner WTF was that? I support Nottingham Forest and they defend corners better than that. Arsenal were so badly outclassed tonight that were i a fan i would be ashamed.
On the plus side 6-1 win for Forest tonight (not that anyone here cares).
The final Basque Derby at historic stadium San Mames in Bilbao going down right now, should be a great atmosphere game.
Athletic has really fallen off since last year, but Real Sociedad is on a huge hot streak (though aided by the fact that their opposition has been red carded in something like all 7 or 8 of their last matches).
Of course Athletic sort of kills the atmosphere by playing depressingly terrible ball as has become usual, could end up in a relegation struggle and they have their streak of never been relegated. Around this time one year ago they were thoroughly outplaying Manchester United.
Also in other news, Singapore police are investigating Dan Tan, who is the main identified ringleader of the match-fixing group.
Realistically, it's not going to be a problem because I don't think we're going to win against Swansea.
What he says in the interview is totally right. It happened with a French team recently too with the local cup. If they qualified for the Europa League they would have had to close the club.
About the last quote, it's just a tactic to not put pressure on his players, like any sub average team that plays against a top one. At least that's how I see it.

TBH I'm not happy for Arsenal's current state...but the one thing that is filling me with joy is how all the annoying glory hunters who supported them in their years of plenty, especially the fucking ones not actually from north london, are turning around and quitting Arsenal hahahahaha!!!!
Only thing that would be better is if this happened to Man U...the sheer size of the glory hunter exodus would be insane.

Well I started supporting arsenal back at 06/07 due to their quite unique game, back when they were by no means very fantastic, lol. I also didn't know about her trophy filled past few years beforehand as I was just learning about the sport :p
Anyway it's not that I don't support the team anymore, just that I've grown to be quite desensitized to arsenal losing, as telcontar said, emotionally distanced. And yes, seeing man u like that would be fun :D
