Afterwards I literally caught myself murmuring to myself: "See you fucking pussy, and you already wanted to give up. Fuck you". (This murmuring also happened in English and not in German). So yeah, I guess sometimes that language just keeps you honest, lol.

Now I know better and actually can't stand the fact that I can still see my ribs. As for snatching, definitely get some videos asap. I've learned the hard way that the longer you go on developing bad habits, the harder it'll be to fix them down the road. Also, if you haven't fallen on your ass yet, you're missing out. speaking as someone who has been chubby all his life, I think that having a six pack is awesome! I hope I have one by next summer tbh :p have hit somewhat of a roadblock in my cut this past few weeks though. bodyweight doesnt seem to go down. then again, my diet hasn't been very good and i'm doing smolov which makes you hungry like a bear 4 days out of the week which makes it very hard to resist the urge to eat. on the plus side my thighs are fucking huge... oh and also happy birthday funkie and risen ![]()

I've also been fat/chubby all my life so the idea of a six pack is very tempting. I was thinking about cutting down for this summer but wasn't really happy with my mass, next time baby ![]()

I think I have sufficient muscle mass for a cut now. but yeah, cutting/eating less is hard for me ![]()

And of course, six packs are awesome if you have some mass, nothing wrong with striving for it. Just not the teenage-boy six-pack look, when there is no muscle at all.

Anyway, I'm gonna mix my program a bit. Gonna make Sunday into a volume day and do 3x3 instead of 1x5 on the bench and squat. I'm starting on Clen again this Saturday, so the boost should help take a bit off the sting off the extra load. Hopefully I'll be pretty much done with this cut two weeks from now.

I was scheduled to do a new PR 16.25kg 3x5 (SS style, so every session is a PR, but I failed this weight the last time). So after warm-up, I drop down into my first set and just get in a wrong position and cannot hold myself even for one rep and just fall down. But I get myself together and manage to do my first set of five with lots of pain and atrocious form, but I feel there is no way to get all reps in that day. During the second set however I somehow managed to get into a position which gets my pecs involved more than usual, and therefore the set is somehow surprisingly easy, given that my whole upper body hurts. The third set goes the same way, and I manage to even get a sixth rep in. Afterwards I literally caught myself murmuring to myself: "See you fucking pussy, and you already wanted to give up. Fuck you". (This murmuring also happened in English and not in German). So yeah, I guess sometimes that language just keeps you honest, lol. lol, that is great. I usually just rage up when I'm sucking at training to get me through it. Hope all of you have been doing well. Time to get shit started again.

I dunno, I weigh 81kg at 179cm at that seems like a fine weight to me. That said, I'm planning to eventually bulk up to 83-85kg but only when I can do that while staying relatiely lean.

I'd just rather stay at a higher weight and get strong enough until I have that look that way, and would even be allowed to eat more. Decaf is always hovering a few kg around a sixpack, and he is 95-96kg@184cm. So it surely is possible at 83kg. But I understand that weighing less is the faster solution, and then there could also be unfortunate genetics, so you never know. As long as we have specific goals, it should hopefully create the necessary drive to achieve them. I think "faster solution" is something of an understatement :p It takes 2-3 months to lose 10kg, or you can sit at 10kg overweight for 2-3 years while you build up to decaf's muscle mass. I mean, it's not the end of the world to be 10kg overweight, but I also don't see why you would wait for the muscles to catch up for that long rather than just cutting down to your desired bf% and then slowly bulking up. I enjoy lifting for lots of reasons and looking better is probably tied with the pure visceral enjoyment of lifting something fucking heavy as the primary reason. Almost as important is the psychological aspects of lifting (sense of control, discipline, patience), with health reasons being a distant fourth. So for me, the reasons to get to a decent weight before I start bulking outweighed the reason to stay at that weight (i.e. avoiding 2-3 months of slow strength gains). When I cut from 89kg to 80kg recently, I didn't cut until I got a six pack (my bf% is still around 15% right now). I cut up to the point where I felt like the value of continued cutting was outweighed by the value of eating more and lifting heavier, which is where I'm at right now. So I guess I'm saying that I agree with you: Everybody has their own goals :p To me, Zafrumi's goals make perfect sense, but to somebody whose reasons for lifting are weighted differently (no pun intended) it might make less sense.

bulking is so hard to do , esp with how im trying to eat healthy as fuck. its not so much that i cant eat its i literally run out of food to eat or time to prepare it lol, provided i have shit to do that day gonna buy some protein powder whey today or w.e its called and just chug that shit senseless and not to mention the last 2 times i've drank(a lot) completely fucked over my whole process. fuck never drinking again until im done bulking and just want to maintain sweet jesus its so bad for reference im probably 6"1' around 165(?) haven't checked in a while the plus side is most of that weight is muscle +water since i can visibly see my veins on the underside of my biceps, chest legs etc i dunno why other ppl dont like leg workouts (?) leg press and such are probably my favorite. i can do 2.5x my bench with press lol hmm also i was wondering what u guys know about muscle atrophy or whatever. i had a friend teach me to do 2 groups of different muscle sets back to back with no rest, for example do some bench then right after without rest switch to leg press, then boom back to da chest after a short rest(~1min) i find i can generally lift heavier however using longer rests in between sets (2min + ) so ive just been switching it up.

Yes, dieting means you aren't bulking and aren't putting up higher and higher numbers. Time and time again I see some of you telling people "they are too small to diet", judging from bodyweight and height. No one bothers to ask what bodyfat % the person might be at, or a picture to see what the person should actually focus on. In many cases the people posting here are skinny-fat (low muscle mass, higher bodyfat%) and in line with what they actually post, they would be best suited on a proper diet to cut bodyfat before bulking up leanly again. I feel a lot of bad advice is given on this principal, just because you have 0 focus on achieving leanness, does not mean that everybody shares your goals. I actually feel depressed if I am above 11-12% bodyfat. Not only that, I'm getting much more into bodyweight exercises in which case any kg of bodyweight you carry that isn't muscle is a large disadvantage. I think having abs and being lean is an admirable goal, and not one to be shat on. An individual is generally healther overall at leaner bodyweights as well (within reason). That being said, a person with little muscle mass does not look good lean like you guys have said, but he does not look good fat either. I wish you guys were a little more open minded about other individual's goals
