Fuck!!!! I ate almost 3K of calories today, still hungry and I haven't even begin my workout!!!!!!

Except for when you actually go into pubmed or google scholar and search for gluten/gliadin and various autoimmune diseases including neurodegenerative stuff like MS, alzheimer's, parkinson's, etc.

I will grant that grains are probably likely only one part of the disease process with chronic inflammation, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, etc. and other co-factors contributing to the development of pathogenesis of these diseases.

In general, cutting grains and other junk food for more nutritious options is a good idea. Especially since grains have less nutrients than fruits and vegetables, and are waaay more calorically dense which contributes to excess calories which helps to promote obesity, diabetes,etc

White rice doesn't seem to be able to satiate me, i.e. makes me want to eat a ton more. I become drowsy as well.

So, insulin spike? I think I need to find some other post-workout carb source.

What's your overall diet look like? I like starchy carbs post workout, maybe take it easy on the carbs on non-lifting days. Also how much fats are you getting? Healthy ones from like eggs, tuna, olives, butter etc. None of that trans fat shit.

Edit: If that's all in check replace rice with peeled white potatoes?

yeah white rice is the devil, makes me tired as fuck whenever i eat it (only eat it when i eat sushi) and could have something to do with the fact that i eat 30 pieces every time in 10 minutes
